We all starting following Jack. I was walking next to Grayson and was talking with Gab.  Wyatt and Jack were talking with each other and Arlo was observing nature.

On the walk I observed what type of person everyone was, I didn't get much; but I did learn something about everyone.

Wyatt Finch, he is very straight up and is brutally honest when he needs to be. He can can be mean, but in a playful way or he can be just straight up mean.  He can also be very serious, it's funny.

Jack Vandenburg, he is the leader of the Vipers. He's tough and is probably very strong and is a good fighter. He's also quite good looking.

Gabriel Windsor, you can get a good conversation with him if you're talking about the right topic. He's very fun to talk too and can keep a good conversation going. He's cute too!

Arlo Simmons, he's actually pretty laid back. He is the type of person who likes to observe and enjoys being around nature, which that's something we have in common.

Finally Grayson Dash. Oh my God. He is perfect. He's so caring, nice, loving.. anything you can ask for! Any girl would be so lucky to be with him, expect I can't imagine him being with another girl. I know we've only met today but I know he is the one, he's for sure the one!

My conversation with Gab started faded out as Grayson and I started to trail behind. He put his hand out and I held it with my hand. He looked at me and smiled.

"Come on, lovebirds, you're falling behind!" Wyatt said as he looked back at us and rolled his eyes playfully.

Love birds? Really? Anyways, Grayson and I caught up with everyone else.

We ended up in the middle of some forest, it was really pretty and I got really good vibes. Jack made us all sit in a circle, I sat in between Gab and Grayson, of course.

"So Astrid.. Now that you're one of us, we need to go over a few things and tell you about us." Wyatt said in a serious tone of voice. It was kind of funny how serious he can be, it's hard not to laugh.

"Yeah, alright. I'm all ears." I said back in a serious tone with a serious face. Arlo looked at me and grinned. Grayson was tying not to laugh.

"Alright, let's start out with the main hangouts. Our main hangouts are forests, empty highways, empty train rail ways, vacant lots and lakes. We also don't like to be out in the morning, we like to be out at night, it leave for a better vibe and it just goes along with the theme of us Vipers. Now that we found our recruit, which is you; we don't need to be going to school anymore, it's a waste of time." Jack explained.

Let's see, I prefer the night over day anyways. That's one thing we have in common. The hideouts also seem like places I'd like to be, especially forests; I love forests! The school thing is also something I like. I don't really like school; it's too much pressure always having to get good grades and it causes so much stress.

"Oooo I can definitely work with that. Anyways continue." I said, you could see excitement in my eyes.

"Gang rules. We don't have very many of those but we still got em'. Rule number one, you are to always have some sort of weapon on you; it's for protection. We will be giving you a switchblade and a gun."

Well, this is all new to me. I've never used a gun nor a switchblade. I'll have to learn how to fight and everything as well.. I mean I got some skill in me already.

"Rule number two, don't hurt people just for the fun of it. We don't jump people just for the fun of it. That's off limits. Let the fight come to you, you don't start it.. you end it. We will only start the fight if they really deserve it." Jack said as he smirked.

Well that ones obvious. It's wrong to hurt people just for the fun of it.

"Rule number three, you must always where this chain, it represents that you're a Viper." Jack put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a sliver chain with a skull on it, it was gorgeous. I guess I didn't realize everyone else was wearing one.

"Thank you, Vandenburg. It's really pretty." I looked at Jack and smiled, placing the chain around my neck.

"I guess you guys all follow a certain fashion style.. I like it!" I said looking around at everyone.

"Yep, sure do. You gonna dress our style now?" Arlo looked at me and said.

"Yeah, I guess so" I smiled.

Their style consists of jeans, jean jackets, leather jackets, white high top converse, black high top converse, flannels, skull rings and chains. I'm sure they all carried a pack of cigarettes too. The style is very interesting though, I quite like it.

"Well I guess it's quite time I give you the switchblade and gun." Jack reached in his pocket and pulled out a switchblade. He then took off his back pack, unzipped it and searched it for the gun. He pulled it out and handed me both the gun and switchblade.

"There you go Astrid. The gun isn't loaded yet, but you'll do fine without ammo for now." Jack smirked.

"Thanks again and thanks for giving me a chance. I'll prove I'm the right recruit, I promise you guys." I looked at Grayson and moved closer to him and smiled.

"We have a fight down at the vacant lot with the Rumblers tonight. Think you'll be okay to be in the fight for tonight, Astrid?" Wyatt looked at me.

"Yeah I think so.. I got some skill in me."

A fight? Already? I can do it. I know I can, I'll stay close to Grayson.. any of them.

"Maybe I should get some practice in, yeah?" I exclaimed.

"Sounds like a good idea" Gab said.

"Great, I'll go practice now. Uh, Jack, you want to help me?" I got up from where I was sitting.

"Yeah alright. Let's go just over there" He pointed to another part of the forest.

He got up and we made our way over to where he pointed. The practice has begun...
