What If?

So right now I'm trying to ease off of making these in the format of the episodes and be a bit more original. They are still going to be in my head but it isn't going to be just like the episode. Just a few references here and there to keep the story going. Although when it come to the episodes that are heavily Portwell related then I can't help but to use that here cause they are way too iconic to not use. Hope y'all enjoy!

Ej's POV

What a way to start the new year. New Years Eve could not have went better, I have amazing friends, an even more amazing girlfriend and I'm officially halfway through my senior year. Gotta continue to make all these moments last and hopefully figure myself out in the process. Now I don't know if I've gotten into Duke yet, I don't know what really lies ahead of me but I know I'll figure something out. I'm Ej Caswell and we Caswell's always make things work. Can't wait to show off my beautiful girlfriend to everyone, gosh I still can't believe this sometimes. I'm feeling like I'm in a movie cause this feels too good to be true but it's really true. Gina Porter is my girlfriend and I'm blessed to be able to say that. Now time to go and wake my sleeping beauty up.

Ej gets out his bed and heads over to Gina's room. He slowly opens the door since he knows she is still asleep and walks over to her bed. He squats down in front of her and gently pecks her lips a few time until he feels her kissing back and it then grows into a tiny make out session until Gina finally sits herself up.

Gina: Good morning handsome *she smiles and kisses him again*.

Ej: Good morning my love, how did you sleep?

Gina: Well I had dreams about you so it was great. But could never compete with the real thing *she smirks*. How about you?

Ej: Well I would hope so *he laughs* and it was okay. Took me awhile to fall asleep but that was only because I missed you.

Gina: Awww Eej, that's sweet and I understand that. I always sleep my best when you're next to me but you know we can't do that every night. Don't want to risk your parents walking on us ya know.

Ej: Yeah I totally understand babe but I'm okay now. I promise. Come on let's get ready and I can either cook you something or we can buy something on the way to school. Which one?

Gina: Well last time you cooked you almost burned the place down sooooo that's out the question and when I cook I go all out no matter how hard I try to restrain myself so it takes forever thus us being late for school so our best bet is buying something on the way there.

Ej: Hey that was one time and the only reason why that happened was because you distracted me with your gorgeous self *he walks up to her, grabs her and kisses her*.

Gina: *kisses back and then pulls away a few minutes later* ok you got a good point there *she laughs* I'll start getting ready.

Ej let's her go and he goes off to his room to get ready. Of course Ej is done first, he decides to keep it nice and simple for today, no big deal since it's only the first day of school. Same for Gina but something simple for her compared to simple to Ej is two very different definitions of simple. Since their school is lenient with the dress code and knows who to really control, she can wear this with no consequences.
