Ch. 17 (prologue arc pt. 2; updated version)

A tour of Alola + flashbacks

Walking with professor Burnet around the region, so far the professor showed her everything, including the murals all over the island they're on. She stops and looks around her surroundings remembering everything they've done, then she remembers what Burnet asked before they left her house.

~flashback begins~

Burnet: do you miss it master?

Sitting on the stool of the window, one of her legs hanging off the stool, while the other leg is bent upwards, and she leans on the side while looking out of her window. She turns her head towards Burnett.

Jamie: miss what exactly babe?

Prof. Burnet: you know...conquering, creating, merging, and destroying universes.

Jamie: yeah...I do, don't you?

Prof. Burnet: *looks down* is it bad that I also miss doing the things with all of you?

Jamie: *chuckles* no, not really. It'd be bad if you're lying.

Prof. Burnet: well am I?

Jamie: no, you're not. Which is why...I can't be a Pokémon trainer if I still...

~flashback ends~

Jamie: "if I still want to conquer this universe again."

Professor Burnet looks at Jamie when she heard those words that she said. Walking towards her, she cups one of her hands on Jamie's cheek and said former universal destroyer looks at her.

Prof. Burnet: "I know you do...and so do I but."

Jamie: "hm?"

Prof. Burnet: "*speaks softly* what if we get caught again master..."

Silence, that is all she hears, looking at XLR8 and noticing the silence, meaning she's thinking of something mostly. Looking away from Professor Burnet.

Jamie: "I'll think about it later. Right now, just continue showing me around and show me where Olivia is."

The Professor nods her head and both universal destroyer and Professor starts walking again.

~Aether foundation~

Sitting in her office, looking at the paperwork and sighing to herself, the person then stands up and walks out of the room, remembering what happened before she has gotten arrested and escaped.

?: I miss those days...the days we all used to conquer not only this universe, but others and merged them together, if it weren't for Toffy and that...

~flashback begins~

Jamie and her pirate crew looked up on who it was. Jamie growls knowing who it was. It looked like a Mewtwo but there is an obvious difference. This Mewtwo complexion was dark and Jamie quickly flies up towards the Mewtwo and blast it using a dark kamehameha but it absorbed it. All of their eyes widen seeing that, she quickly flies back sensing what it was going to do, she dodged the kick that was going to hit her head and punches the dark Mewtwo. The Mewtwo didn't flinch and her eyes widen, it backhanded her towards the side like she was a fly and she hit the ground.
