Ch. 19 (prologue arc pt. 4; updated version)

Away from Jamie's + Zero Squad's POV, for now...and then, back to Zero Squad

The woman in the room of the area she and the others are at, universe 684, a universe that hasn't been taken over or basically gotten taken away by the higher ups. Anyways, she's in the room of the hotel she and the others rented to hide from the higher ups after Jamie publicly "executed" or so they thought, writing stuff down in a journal.

???: "log date, day uh...never mind."

She erases the 'log date uh...never mind' part in the journal she is writing in and she sighs. Jessie calmly breathes in and then exhales so she can try again.

???: "it's been years since my wife, Jamie, has been so-called "executed" by the higher-ups, before she was taken by the spies that found her and also before they found us, she erased Hau's and Leon's. Before that she separated us and told us to go to different universes and which was safe. Olivia and Burnet, the latter who chose to forget the memories, went to universe 788 with not only Hau who got his memories erased, and lastly Gladion. He is wandering the universe, searching for answers for his mom, and lastly, a fence? Being a fence isn't really his style, I can tell because Hau was the one that did that type of stuff before he chose to get his mind wiped. Hau is actually the broker in Zero Squad and a fence when he sells stolen goods. Not to mention, Gladion would be suited to become either a bounty hunter or mercenary, I think he thought of the latter than the former really."

Realizing she's writing about Hau, makes her really missed the rebellion tech savvy of Zero Squad. So she gets back to writing about Gladion.

???: "Anyways, enough about Hau, let's continue writing about Gladion. Even though Gladion could've went to Jamie's domain with Midnight, Oleana, and Brook, but he decided not to, for Hau's sake. But he didn't go to Alola. As of right now, I don't know where he is like I said. He doesn't have terrible sense of directions, *giggles* he's like Jamie, both like to wander off by themselves in universes when something peak their interest."

She stopped writing, remembering the story of how Leon, Gladion, and Hau all met Jamie. The woman remembered how the youngest member of Zero Squad told her the story of how the organization met those three. At first it shocked the woman, mainly because Gladion and Hau are basically not only Jamie's, but also at the time, she and a few other women who Jamie had married at the time were the only wives she had. At first the woman thought it was weird since she was a teenager at that time. But Gladion and Hau decided to call not only Jamie, but most of Jamie's wives "big sis", so it wouldn't be awkward for some of Jamie's wives. As weird as it was for her, she's gotten used to Hau calling her "mom" which she's the only person he calls her that...and Unohana. Jamie still feels weird whenever he calls her "mom". So, both he and Gladion still calls her big sis. The woman also remembered how Hau was excited to be in Jamie's domain with his adopted older brothers. She then, starts to write in her journal, again.

???: "Sonia and Oleana were also in that universe but in a different part of that universe called Galar. Mirio went back to universe unknown. Me on the other hand, took Quillon and Alain to this universe to hide from the higher-ups themselves, well more specifically, the whore herself, Stussy. I'm guessing the other members of Zero Squad decided to go their own way so the higher-ups wouldn't "execute" them too, like they did to Jamie."

When she stopped again, but only after writing that name. She glares but shakes her head so she wouldn't think about the bad memories and she sighs, again.

???: "Etc, etc. you get the point. When news spread about her so-called "execution" everything went downhill from there. Raihan possibly had told his older and younger adopted sisters who were upset. ok well, both Cynthia and Yamato was upset and worried about Jamie. Drasna on the other hand, escaped the holding cell of their prison with the help from Jamie I might add, before she got "executed" too and wanted Jamie to come with her. I don't know why Jamie said no and didn't go back with Drasna to see Cynthia and Yamato but, knowing our wife...she had a plan. Not to mention, she's stubborn and prideful so maybe it was because of her pride, who knows what's going on in my wife's chaotic head of hers."
