Here's the next chapter.

Lexi just finished her workout at the Performance Center. She has to put her Raw Women's title on the line against Mercedes at Survivor Series in three days. And she knows she needs to be at her best if she wants to successfully retain her title.

After showering and putting on clean clothes she bumped into Nicola Glencross, aka Nikki Cross. "Oh hey Lexi." Nicola greeted in her scottish accent as they hugged.

(Just pretend they're at the Performance Center and they're in regular clothing.)

"Hey Nicola

"Hey Nicola. What's up?" She asked. "I want to wish you good luck for your championship match at Survivor Series."

"Thanks. And hey I heard you're in a number one contenders match for the NXT Women championship." "Yep." "Hope you win."

"Thanks. Well. See you later Lexi." Nicola replied before she grabbed her duffle bag and left. Lexi packed up her things and left not too long after.

She put on her coat as it was windy most of the day. Luckily for her her apartment was only a fifteen minute walk. She had only walked about a hundred feet when she sensed she might be being followed.

She started to walk a little faster. She glanced back for a brief second and the mystery person continued to follow her. She stopped at a traffic light. She pressed the button, anxious for the light to turn green. The hooded figure got closer and closer.

Panic started to crept through. Finally the light turned green and the walk signed lit up. And she walked quickly across the street. But then she saw the person was starting to close in on her, and she started to run.

"Get away from me you creep!" she shouted, but he kept following her.

She finally made it to the apartment buildings. She got to the elevator and hit the button, her heart pounding. She sees the stranger standing by the front door, staring at her until the elevator doors closed.

She immediately got to her apartment and locked the door. She tried to calm herself down.

"Who the heck was that creep?" she asked herself. She then thought of something. "Could it have been the same person I walked by in the parking lot the other night?"

Her cell phone rang. She took it out of her pocket she smiled widely when she saw it was John.

"Hey John." she said in a huff. "Hey. You ok?" "Yeah. Just got back from my workout." "That's good. That must explain the heavy breathing." he replied.

As they chatted she debated whether or not to tell him about what happened on her way home.

"Is something wrong?" he then asked. She let out a huge breath. "Something happened." "What? What is it?" "Someone followed me all the way to my apartment." she explained.

"Really? Are you sure?" "Yes. It might have been the same guy I saw at the parking lot. I could be wrong though." she said. "I wish I could be there to make sure you're okay." he said.

Lexi felt warm all over, knowing how much John cares about her.

"No. I'm ok. I can handle myself. I got some close friends. I don't want to take you away from your girlfriend." Lexi said. Though secretly she'd like for him to come over, but she's knows it's probably nothing.

"Okay. But you know you can call me just in case." he said. "I know. Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you." Lexi said from the bottom of her heart, smiling.

They both said their goodbyes and she changed into her sleep wear. She double checked to make sure the door and windows were locked before going to bed.
