Chapter Fourteen

Here's the next chapter.

It has been a week since Lexi was reported missing. John's barely slept the past few days. He wants to go find her, but with his legs not working, that wasn't an option. Police haven't updated him yet.

He's been getting text from his ex Nicole, pleading with him to take her back, but he ignored them.

He turned on the tv to try to take some of the stress out of him.

He kept thinking about the video he saw on his phone. He still couldn't believe she has had feelings towards him.

He's conflicted. He's sort of been attracted to her since they became friends. But he was dating Nicole at the time. Plus he didn't want to ruin his friendship with her.

He hopes she's ok. Knowing her so well, she wouldn't go down without a fight.

When he does see her again, he'll tell her how he feels about her.

Some time passed by before his phone rang.

It was detective Hunter calling him.

"Have you found Lexi?" John wondered. "No. But we do have some new information." The detective said.

"Well what is it?"

"We got the license plate to the vehicle the suspect was driving." he replied.

"It belongs to a black van." Bruce added.

"We have officers searching for it."

"You better find her soon." John said.

"Don't worry. We will."

Meanwhile

Lexi could barely see out of her right eye.

She tried to fight him off when he tried to touch her intimately, and she ended up getting a few punches to the face. One of those punches ended up catching her in the eye.

Now her hands are tied up behind her back.

She can taste her own blood in her mouth. She can feel a couple of loose teeth.

She laid down and rest her head on the cold concrete floor, hoping it will take some of the pain away.

She struggled to keep herself from crying again. But she couldn't stop the tears from rolling down her cheeks.

Back when she met Ryder he seemed like a nice guy. He was her first friend. And before she knew it she started developing feelings towards him.

And then came the night that would change her life forever. And not in a good way.

He invited her to his place for a party. It was supposed to be the best day of her life. But instead it ended up becoming the worst experience for her.

It was really hard for her to testify against Ryder him, but she knew she had to be strong and stand up for herself.

And it turned out she wasn't his first victim. There had been some other women he raped.

And after seeing and hearing Lexi's statement, the other female victims all came forward.

And Ryder was sent to jail.

But she had no idea that he was let out.

She can't believe something like this was going to happen again to her.

She really hope John has woken up from his coma and figured out that she was missing.

He must have figured it out and probably went to the police.

She also wondered if he saw the video she made. About how she confessed her feelings towards him.

Well whether he has or not, she wants to tell him herself of how she feels for him.

That's if she doesn't die first.

Then the door opened.

She sees Ryder come in, and she noticed he had something in his right hand.

He walked over to her, and her eyes went wide in horror when she saw it was a whip.

"I'm going to make you my bitch."

Some time later

She cried out as he whipped her back for the 20th time or so.

"Say it. You're my bitch" Ryder growled in her ear again. "You're my bitch." Lexi replied, repeating exactly what he said, laughing a little despite the pain. Frustrated, he went back to whipping her. He tried and tried to get her to break, but she wouldn't give in.

He kept whipping her until his shoulder started to ache.

He dropped the whip and started breathing heavily, clear exhausted.

"What's the matter babe? Is that all you got?" She taunted through grit teeth. Her back stung like hell.

She was met with a smack to the side of the head. Her ears ringing loudly.

He starts untying the binds off her wrists. She saw the door was open.

After he untied her, she made her move. With all her might, she kicked him below the belt, causing him to cry out and fall down to his knees.

And before he could say something Lexi hauled her right leg back, and her knee connected with his face, knocking him out cold.

Immediately she went out the door. She search through the hallways until she finds the front door.

Meanwhile

"Detective." Bruce Hunter looked up to see officer Samantha Smith coming towards him.

"What is it officer?" he asked. "There was a 911 call from a gas station clerk. Reports of a short blonde woman sitting outside the door. Wearing nothing but a bra and underwear."

"Could it be the missing lady?" Bruce asked.

"It could be. He said she's got bruises all over her body."

"We better go get her."
