He grabbed her by hands and pulled her to the side in swift motion.
"What the h-", he placed his fingers on her lips silencing her squeal. She stared at him in shock, her eyes a whirlwind of emotions.
"Before you say something else, I need to know...
"What's it Sweetie , Tell me" asked Haider , Areeka was playing with her Shawl's end because she was very much nervous . She chanted "Be Confident" in her mind trying to prepare herself . She took a deep breathe and her eyes met his concerned eyes.
"I Don't know how to tell this but here it goes , You and I aren't working anymore and continuing this wont let us reach anywhere and this is for the best for both of us so I Want to break up with you" said Areeka in a single breathe
"What are saying , Are you out of your mind, I love you Areeka " said Haider , Her eyes met with Haider's pleading eyes which was breaking her heart. She averted her eyes and looked down . She didn't want to let him off again and again like she does , The eyes of his had that ability
She wanted this to end and seeing him like this was making her rethink her decision , She knew she needed to get out of there before she takes it back and take him back , She was weak in his case.
"Areeka don't do this , You told me that you would never leave and now why are you doing this , I will get rid of any obstacles between us but I cant forget you or leave you, Don't do this Areeka , I love you so much" said Haider and Areeka got up from there and started walking outside
"Areeka don't leave me , I Can't live without you , Areeka I" said Haider and stopped. Areeka understood the reason for his silence. Tehreem got out of the car and His eyes fell on her . Just like Areeka thought He kept quiet seeing Tehreem.
Tehreem got inside the care and was accompanied by Areeka. Areeka opened the door and looked at his eyes before getting. "Please don't" he mouthed , She got inside and closed the door. Even though she felt suffocated by him , She still couldn't see him in pain and it pained her seeing him like this.
Whatever happens , She loved him with all of her heart and she couldn't just forget him like that, It was getting toxic but His pain was clenching her heart tight . Tehreem hugged Areeka in a comforting way to help her get through this pain.
"you know just like I told , He kept his emotions bottled when he saw you because he didn't want me in any sort of trouble , He could break my heart back by telling you about this relationship but he didn't , He kept silent while eyes pleaded me to stop" said Areeka
"You should've seen the emotions in his eyes , It's speaking too much words about his pain , I feel so bad that I broke his heart , He doesn't still deserve the pain he is getting , Reem did I do the right thing" asked Areeka with pain in her eyes and Tehreem slowly nodded.
"Areeka , you did the best thing for both of you , You felt suffocated by him and now he is free from the hold too , This pain will slowly end and then there is happiness for both of you" said Tehreem in a comforting voice.
"I feel really bad for breaking his fragile heart , He might look really tough and all but he is soft inside , He just wants to protect the people he love , Is this right" said Areeka while crying and Tehreem was trying her best to comfort.
"You know , He came near our house to check up on me when I was sick , He knew it was risky but he did it just to check up on me , He teased of coming in front of me but I knew he would never do that" said Areeka
"He told me that he would do that again to make sure that I'm doing fine even if he would be in big trouble too , He didn't care about anything else but me , He climbed through the fences to check up on me" said Areeka
"We have met outside our home near the garden and he made sure that he isn't seen by anyone , he would do more than needed so I don't fall in trouble , He cared about me that much and made sure I'm not hurt like that" said Areeka with tears
"Once I was going to the movies with you and he joined me , He would take risky things like that to just see me for a while , He did all of that because he wanted me around , He stood behind you and teased me , I didn't want you to notice and gave him a deadly stare" said Areeka
"He made sure that no one else saw him , Mom walked in our room plenty times but he made sure to stay out of her eye sight , He told he dint want to leave me alone over there , "shall I jump in" he asked plenty of times and he smiled at my expression" said Areeka
"He didn't do much of a good job at that" mumbled Tehreem under her breathe
"What did you say" asked Areeka and Tehreem nodded disagreeing that she said something . Areeka gave her a look asking her to tell what it is.
"He didn't do much of a good job hiding himself from others , He might have escaped from mom's eyesight but not mine , I did see him but I had enough trust in you on not putting you on a spot , i thought that it would be a friend checking upon on you but taking an extra mile" said Tehreem and Areeka nodded
"Thanks for always staying with me and trusting me like that , I don't know how would I repay for you being with when I need you , being my strength through painful times , Love you Reem" said Tehreem
"Love you too Areeka" said Tehreem
