Chapter 52

Heaven In Love

Haider kept on wondering what was happening with him. He feels completely different when he is with Tehreem, it was something new and he was completely puzzled over what was happening. He hated Tehreem at first then extended the hand for friendship and now something new which he could not get his mind around.

"Haider, where is your mind stuck at" asked Nick being concerned, this brought Haider out of his thoughts.

"I just can't wrap around where my mind goes nowadays, I've no idea what I'm feeling nowadays but all I know is It's the best feeling" said Haider in a dreamy way.

"I can't believe this, Haider Khurrana is in heaven in Love, we've been friends for a really long time, but I've never seen you like this in love" said Nick with a smirk and Haider looked at him with an astounded look.

"Me in Love, never; That too with Tehreem, I don't think so" said Haider all defensive and Nick was smiling.

"Stop denying, I didn't know that You're in Love with Tehreem but Good for you, she's your wife and your life partner, there is no need to be defensive over there," said Nick.

"I'm not in Love with her, I just feel completely different around here like I'm in some kind of ease and free, I just have a really good friendship with her and that's it, we just work together good because we understand each other very well," said Haider.

"Seeing you deny is just funny, what you said now screams the symptoms of love and What's wrong with it, you are in love with her and she's your wife so you've every right in the world to fall in love with her" said Nick and Haider rolled his eyes.

"You're picking up the habits of hers "said Nick and Haider gave him a look. Haider realised what he had done and then remembered her habit of rolling her eyes, He had a soft smile on his face.

"Shall I tell you something, I'm just going to be brutally honest with you" said Nick and Haider nodded.

"I've seen in you with many girls but none like Tehreem, even if you take Areeka I wasn't Love, you just liked her and she was your type, you had some kind domination over her which is your type, but Tehreem isn't like that at all," said Nick.

Haider could not help but wonder about Nick's words. Areeka would sing if he asked, she would not go against him at all, but his fiery Tehreem would go against him and give an impactful competition, she would not listen to him like others but instead would Challenge him and show him up.

"Tehreem and you are from opposite sides, I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but she is different from your usual type and That's what it takes to change from like to love, she challenges you while your usual type just follows you maybe that's what it takes," said Nick.

Haider remembered all the time that Areeka stayed silent and wondered what would have happened if it were Tehreem, Tehreem would have broken his nose for what he did. Tehreem was a breath of fresh air, and he did not what his heart wanted, He wanted someone who stays in his level.

"I just want to say that don't fight against your true feeling because That will only be a loss for you" said Nick and that hit a nerve.

Haider wondered how much she mattered for him; He could not deny the fact that she was incredibly special for him. Even though they fought and started on the wrong foot now he cannot imagine a day without her company, The way she is with him when he needs company and help.

She cares for him even though the relation was built on the wrong things, he remembered how she cared when he nearly got burned and while he was sick. He liked being there for her and the smile of Her's at those gestures which are not much but everything to her.

The smile of Her's which lights up his day with the sparkle in her eyes. She does not know but he notices her trivial things, the way she reacts when he brings her coffee, The way she tucks her loose strands. He could not help but smile thinking about her.

"You're thinking about her right?" asked Nick and Haider smiled at Nick.

"I knew it, you've that lovey-dovey smile," said Nick.

"Haider go for it before you lose a chance because you might end up losing her if you don't" said Nick and Haider felt knots in his stomach, he wondered not waking up to her peaceful face, her tasty coffee, Their fun movie nights, and her smiles.

"Hello" said Haider, He had got a call from Tehreem.

"Your Family is waiting for you, I told you about the dinner plans right," said Tehreem.

"I forgot, I'll be there soon" said Haider and Tehreem slowly hummed.

Haider left to find his whole family waiting for him, He joined them for dinner. Everyone started chatting and ignoring the table manners. Haider stole glances at Tehreem and thought about what he had talked with Nick, Was he in Love with her?

Haider denied those thoughts and he engaged with the conversation. All of them went to the balcony with ice cream and was having an enjoyable time. Tehreem's hair was getting on her face, she was going to move it with the hand holding the ice cream spoon.

Haider slowly leaned towards her and tucked her hair behind her ears. Her eyes meet with his, he felt lost in her eyes. He got out of the trance hearing the soft teasing coughs from his family. He looked at his family members who were laughing now.

"I had to also see this day" said Hina dramatically, everyone started laughing and Haider's eyes went towards a laughing Tehreem. he smiles seeing her cute laugh, Sarah looks at Hina signalling at Haider's smile, Hina smiles seeing her son like that.

"Hina brace yourself because this is just the beginning" said Saaz and everyone starts laughing.

They all spend some time then left for their own room. Haider fell into his bed with deep thoughts, He was trying to figure out what was happening, He saw Tehreem enter the room, He could not take his eyes off her.

"By the way what are we watching for movie night" asked Tehreem while she was packing her books up for classes.

"I think I'm going to skip" said Haider and Tehreem slowly nodded, Tehreem did not want to bug him with counter questions, so she continued her works.

Tehreem went to the washroom and came back to find Haider asleep, Tehreem offed the lights and slept in the bed. Haider slowly opened his eyes when he heard Tehreem laying in the bed. His mind was still clouded with thoughts, he decided to stay away from her to get rid of the so-called feelings.

He woke up in the morning to find Tehreem gone, he found a sticky note on the Table which read that Tehreem felt not to wake him up seeing him Sleep so peacefully, she had left for her classes. He woke up and did his works, He was missing Tehreem. He had decided to ignore her, so he did not text her like usual.

"I miss her so much, but I can't change my decision" whispered Haider............
