Chapter 8

"Chill bro, Drive slowly or you're going to crash this care and We are too young to die" said Haider's friend clutching onto the seatbelt.

"I still can't believe she moved on just like that after hurting me this bad, She just got over it like that it really makes me wonder that did she love me or was she just playing with my feelings like its nothing" asked a frustrated Haider who was taking his anger on his drive. His friend was scared for his and his friends life . Haider slammed his hands on the steering wheel startling His friend.

Haider had parked his car in the side of Areeka's home where he usually parks because it has a good view of Areeka's and Tehreem Room. He looked around to see a house decorated in a way for simple function and he knew that What he heard was vey much true.

"Everyone was right and i was wrong , She just played with my feelings and ditched it like nothing happened , Now she's moved on like nothing had happened and is getting married , I was nothing for her and I'm here sulking over her , I loved her with all my Heart" said Haider

"Brother don't say like that , You don't know what's happening in there , Maybe its some other function or can be the sister's function too , We don't know what's happening so its not right to assume , Its better to confirm" said his friend trying to comfort Haider

"Nick , I Think we could go in after a while then we can understand what's really going on and please stop making her some kind of saint because she isn't" said Haider with frustration and Nick sighed seeing His friend going completely crazy.

Haider glanced at the window like he always do when he goes there , His eyes searched for Areeka and the memories of him seeing her over there flashed in front of his eyes like some movie. He broke out of his trance to find his friend staring at the window , He hit his friend hard with his elbow and his friend shrieked

"Don't, That's Tehreem" said Haider ,He could see Tehreem standing near the window in a rose gold attire with a book on her hand . He knew it wasn't a simple function going on seeing her attire. HE slammed his hand on the steering wheel in frustration.

"Is it the same Tehreem who might have ruined your Relationship with Tehreem" asked Nick who was offended

"I don't think that She even knows about my existence, I really doubt that She might have heard everything like some novel story and Areeka might have asked what the character should've done , Tehreem must've said just like that" said Haider and Nick gave him a confused look.

"Areeka does that a lot when she needs Advice without her sister knowing the reality , Even during our relationship she did that plenty of times and told me how she asked Tehreem without even Tehreem realising what's Happening" said Haider justifying Tehreem

Haider got out of the car to attend the function, He walked in through the entrance and Nick stood near the entrance because he wanted to give his friend some alone time to digest what's happening because he got a decent idea of what was happening in that function.

"No" whispered Haider seeing What's going on. He walked in to see Areeka sitting on a sofa in the stage . Areeka looked Beautiful and couldn't help himself from Adoring His Ex-girlfriend. She was wearing a Blue Lehenga and Let her hair out Just like the way he liked her hair .

Haider felt like his world stopped seeing Areeka sitting next to a guy in a traditional Attire , He looked around and got an idea of what's going on. He didn't want this to be true , His heart wanted to believe that this isn't happening but his mind was screaming that it's what it seems like.

He was clutching onto the thought that this isn't happening until this happens in front of him. Nick could see his friend's world crumble in front of his eyes, He knew his friend loves her with his everything and Now She's getting married to someone else. Haider didn't want to believe she's out of his hands until there's a ring on her finger

He could see Tehreem walking in with a smile on her face with a box in her hand. His heart was breaking Seeing Areeka smiling at the guy sitting next to her , Nusrat said something and Areeka kept her hand forward . Haider's heart was breaking into more pieces , It was hurting him to see the girl he loved being somebody else's.

Tehreem opened the box and gave the ring to Areeka , Haider was wishing that Areeka doesn't take the ring from her sister but Areeka took the ring from her sister.

"I'm the luckiest man in this world to have you as my Fiancé and I'm so grateful to god for writing your name in my fate as my wife" said Ashar and slipped The ring in her ring finger . Areeka was blushing and the guests were clapping loud but Haider's heart was breaking.

"I'm very Lucky to have a man like you as my fiancé" said Areeka and She slipped the ring in Ashar's ring finger . The guests clapped , The parents hugged each other and congratulated. Areeka side hugged Tehreem and Tehreem congratulated the couple. Smiles were exchanged with each other and Haider stood there with a numb expression.

Why was the only question that rang in his mind. His legs couldn't support him anymore and he held onto the nearest Chair. His heart was burning seeing Areeka with another guy , Smiling and giggling with him . HE was dying on jealousy seeing this , He wanted to scream in pain, He felt like dying and Nick was trying to walk through the crowd to find his friend.

"What the-" he said as he felt someone clutching his wrist , He was pulled by his hands into a corner and was confused by what's happening . His eyes met with a pair of dark brown eyes......
