Phancakes!!!

Waking up was annoying but who cares? Jade was baking pancakes, so it was a bit easier.

The smell entered your nostrils and You woke up with a start. A yawn escaped you lips, as you sat up straight and blinked groggily. Stretching yourself. "Arfarfarf!!!!!" Was the first thing you heard as you here pushed backwards onto the bed once more.

You were greeted by a rough tongue against your cheek. You chuckled. And pat Loki's head. "Hey, boy.." You smiled. "Gotta wake up huh?" You smiled and checked your phone afterwards.

Hey babe, hope I'm not interrupting but I found the slip you need to turn in for the job and since if was completed I sent it in. Hope you don't mind.

You smiled and texted back with a "thanks I appreciate it!" Putting your phone of a counter you walked downstairs following the entrancing smell of pancakes. Loki, of course, following right behind.

"I smell pancakes" you cooed and walked into the kitchen chuckling, Jade giggled and smiled.

"I know you have to go back home, so I decided to make some of your fav!" She giggled and walked finished flipping a pancake.

"Yassss" you said ironically, and grabbed one from the placed she had on the place, and stuffed it in your mouth.

"Hey!" She gave you a look "oh geez, just eat it. I know you have to go anyways!" She shrugged.

"Thanks. Really. For everything" you smiled and nudged her shoulder.

"No problem" she smiled back.

You had a great friend. Great best friend.

"Dave!!" You called "I'm home!!" You locked the door behind you and put Loki down, you didn't want him running away so you picked him up after leaving Jade's house.

"Yo-" he peeked his head from the couch but before he said anything he lowered his shades and looked at you with an eyebrow raised. "Damn. You look good with dyed hair."

You blushed a little and gave a short giggle. "Thanks" you mumbled and walked up to him, placing a kiss on his forehead.

"You have fun at Jades?" He asked.

"Yep" you nodded.

"Hey come here, sit on my lap. I need a hug" he pulled at your sleeve.

You rolled your eyes "fine" and sat on his lap, he placed his arms around your waist and you placed your head on his chest.

"Can we stay like this for a while?" He asked.

"Yeah..." You smiled and closed your eyes. Maybe sleeping shouldn't be what you were doing. But who cares you we're tired anyways.
