After a short walk back home, Dave kissed your cheek, saying he was going to take a small nap. Which you were grateful for since you, John, and Karkat, were going Christmas shopping. Your other friends had done it a week ago, but you three were just to lazy to get anything done. You grabbed the house keys, saying in your same clothes and walking out. You took out your phone and called John.

"Hey! (Y/n)! Are you here yet? Karkat is getting agitated and I think he's going to kill a person-" John got cut off by Karkat telling "AM NOT"

"Yeah I'm almost there Egbert! Say hi to kk for me. Also are you guys outside or inside?" You asked

"Outside! I think I can see your TARDIS jacket! That's you right?" He asked.

"Yeah! It is!" You looked up wards and around spotting John with a bright blue hat, a jacket and black pants. Karkat had a grey jacket and and some jeans, those red floofy thingys on his ears. He didn't seem happy about it. "I think I can see you too..is Blue hat boy right?" You chuckled.

"Yep that's me!" He chuckled and waved. You ended the call when you walked up close enough to talk to him.

"So you FINALLY decided to show your ass up here?" Karkat grumbled.

"Geez relax, I had something to do before coming here" you rolled your eyes.

"Let's not bicker, let's get to finding Christmas shit for our friends!" John giggled.

You nodded and walked inside the shop, looking at all the decorations. jesus. It was more Christmassy than Santas asshole. Geez.

"Woooo ok so who's first on our list?" John asked.

"Harley." Karkat responded and you got an idea.

"I call dibs on buying her a dog Hoddie!" You said.

"Aw man! That sounds like a cool gift! Ok, meet back here in 20 minutes. And we can go for lunch." John chuckled and checked his watch.

"FINALLY I can actually get away from you two embarrassing shits." Karkat sighed and started walking. John rolled his eyes, waved goodbye and headed his way. You sighed and went to the jacket section, looking for a green dog hoodie, which had fake ears, and a place to put your thumb so it looked like paws.

After roaming around for a while you found it and grinned to yourself. So...Rose was next. You could probably give her a scarf. Yeah, a scarf.

"Scarfs.." You mumbled and looked for a dark purple/pink one. You always guided yourself with their favorite colours. "Aha!" You chuckled and found one placing it over your shoulder along with the hoodie. You decided to get John the ghostbusters car figurine. Seeing as he loved the movie. After you gathered the rest of the presents for your friends you sighed, placing them. In a bag after paying for them. "Jesus..." You looked down at your watch. 3 minutes left.

You headed to were you were supposed to meet John, finding Karkat already there with a thousand bags around him.

"Woah. So generous this year huh?" You laughed a bit.

"Shut your trap (y/n) John fucking made me." He growled and huffed.

You rolled your eyes and placed your bag on the ground. Crossing your arms waiting for John to arrive.

"I-am-here!" John's voice pierced the silence as he carried a small cart filled with bags.

"Fucking took you long enough" Karkat retorted, looking at John.

"Hey! Be nice Karkat!" John pouted and Karkat shrugged like it was nothing.

"Well at least he's here and we can go to lunch." You pointed out. Food was one of the things that was always in your mind.

"Yeah, let's just fucking go or something." Karkat picked his stuff up and you did the same, as you walked out of the store, John said he parked his dad's car not too far away so you could drop your bags off.

After a shirt amount of walking John pointed at his dad's car, and opened the trunk, which, surprisingly, fit all the goddamned bags.

After he closed the trunk you got in the car, followed by John and Karkat.

"So, were are we dining?" John chirped as he started up the car.

"I don't give a fuck, as long as I get fed" Karkat said.

"Let's just go to Burger King or something" you shrugged and crossed your legs.

"Okie dokey" John giggled and for be his way to the fast food restaurant. Once you got there, he parked the car and you three got out. After beeping the alarm to check the car was locked you all entered Burger King.

"What are you guys going to order?" Karkat asked, looking at me and John.

"The usual" I chimed in. Since this wasn't the first time you always got (insert food here).

"I'm getting what I always get! A whopper!" John grinned like the dork he was.

Karkat nodded and order the food. You all put a little bit of money for the food so it was fair. You walked to a table sat down and ate. Cracking a few joke here and there. Which where of course not funny at all, but because of that you laughed.

*time skip back to apartment*

"Later John, Karkat!" You said goodbye as you got out of the car and grabbed your bags.

"Later!" John said and Karkat just waved. After the car drove off, you walked in the apartment, taking the elevator. In no time, you were at the 4th floor, and unlocking the door. You closed it behind you and walked to your room, not wanting Bro or Dave to see the bags and ask. 'What's in the bag.'

You stepped into your room and locked the door, placing the presents where no one could see them. You walked back out, with a long breath and grabbed a cup of water. Dave must still be asleep.
What a nap he was taking.
