"Your supposed to be the big bad hybrid remember"
" What did you expect Nic?" Rebekah asked him as he told his family what happened with Aurora. " You broke her into thousands of little piece. You should be happy for her, happy that she's happy and that she got the family she's always wanted."
" Thats the things, Rebekah. I wanted to be the one she started a family with." Klaus yelled frustrated.
" Well it's your own fault Nik. You could have had that life with her. But no, you just couldn't keep your filthy hands off of Hayley!" Kol snapped.
To be honest kol never liked Hayley, in fact he hated her for the pain she and and his brother put Aurora through.
" I know." Klaus mumbled looking at the floor in shame. Hayley rolled her eyes at them.
" Thats pathetic." She commented. " Your crying over poor little Aurora. Seriously Klaus. Your supposed to be the big bad hybrid remember, but instead you look like a pathetic little puppy, cry over a stupid, worthless slut."
As soon as those words left her mouth Klaus held her against the wall by her throat. " Never call her a slut or worthless again, because I won't hesitate to kill you." Klaus threatened.
Klaus released her and sat on the couch, and a couple moments later Hope came in skipping happily.
The original family beside Hayley, all smiled at her.
" Hey hope, how was your first few days of school?" Marcel asked.
" Amazing, everyone is so nice, I friends with Mrs. Forbes/ Salvatore kids they're really nice, but I'm closer with Josie." Hope gushed.
" Im glad Littlest Wolf." Klaus his daughter's.
" Dad I was wondering if I could go to the triplets birthday party?"
" Sure Love, when their birthday?"
" April 22." Hope replied. Rebekah gasped quietly as she did the math. Thankfully Klaus didn't hear her. Klaus didn't brother to do the math since he thought they were Stefans.
He nodded at her and she squealed and hugged him before she left the room she turned back to her dad. " You know Mrs. Forbes/ Salvatore talked about you today"
Klaus's head immediately snapped up and Hayley rolled her eyes and glared at the floor. " What did she say?" He asked her nervously.
" Just that I was lucky to have a father like you. And she's right, i am. She also invited us for dinner tomorrow evening." Hoped smiled before going up stairs to her room.
Hope wasn't stupid she knew her father liked Aurora, he could see it in his eyes, she could also tell Aurora liked her father but not as much, like she was holding back, like she was afraid. Of what, Hope didn't know.
Klaus smiled and looked at his siblings. " Do you think I have a chance with Aurora?"
" I think there's still a chance, Nik." Rebekah told her brother softly
" Im not sure Brother. But I do know that Aurora is a very forgiving person, I also know you were the love of her life but you weren't there for her went she was at her darkest. Stefan was." Elijah told his little brother honestly.
" Elijah's right, you weren't there. Like what she turned her humanity off." Kol said.
" She what?" Klaus looked at his brothers in disbelief. Rebekah was also surprised aswell.
" She turned it off after her mother died. Niklaus, her mother died of Cancer, and Aurora wasn't there. She was stuck in a prison world, and the only thing keeping her going from giving up was being able to see her mother and sister again." Elijah started.
" And when she and Bonnie finally escaped the prison world, it was the day of her mother's funeral and she didn't know. When she saw Damon he told her about her mother and she broke. She couldn't handle the pain so she turned it off, then made Stefan turn it off when she found out he was her emotional trigger." Kol continued.
" Aurora had been through a lot since you guys left Mystic falls. She went through a lot of pain, Klaus. And Stefan was there for her. Stefan and Enzo." Davina told the Hybrid.
" who the Bloody hell is Enzo?" Rebekah asked.
" Her Best friend. He was there for her when Damon left her for 3 years. Damon, Bonnie, and Aurora were in the prison world together for four months and they all became close. But Kai Parker linked Elena's life to Bonnie, so as long as Bonnie lived Elena would stay asleep. Elena took the cure, she was human. And eventually Damon couldn't live with out her so he left Bonnie and Aurora a letter and locked himself in a coffin." Kol explained " And Enzo was there for them. Bonnie and Enzo are now married with two kids." He added.
Klaus nodded in understanding as Rebekah, Freya, and Marcel.
" I messed up. I should have stayed to try and fix everything but instead, I left. I messed everything up." He said with tears in his eyes. And the next thing he said broke him.
