     "Look babe, I can explain!" "No. Save it and get out of my house. I contacted your mother and she said you could stay at her house for now. Leave." It was supposed to be a lovely date night for Inui Seishu and his girlfriend, yuuki. However, what was supposed to be a romantic night for the two of them never happened and instead, they had an argument.

     Inui was halfway walking to the destination of where he was supposed to meet up with Yuuki when he passed by a local bar. He figured there was enough time for him to just get a drink before meeting up for the date. 'A few cups only. I don't want to get drunk.' he thought as he entered the bar. He looked around. The bar was very classy with its polished tables and a chandelier right in the middle of the bar. He saw men and woman all drinking and talking to each other. He walked over to one of the few empty tables where a bartender was just putting a bottle of wine on one of the man shelves.
       "What would you like sir?" "Sake(rice wine in Japanese) please." "Of course sir." After a while, he drank about 1/8 of the bottle and decided to finish the rest at home after the date and was going to the restroom to do some final check of his appearance. On his way, he saw many popular gambling games happening in one of the many doors of this bar.
Many people were inside either with a triumph or gloomy expression. Inupi has never really gambled much so he decided to just look around before going to the restroom.
        He entered and immediately, he began to be interested in that one game, poker.The suspense felt as high as the sky as he watched the ongoing game. His eyes fell on one of the players. A guy in his late 30s was playing with a smile, looking very happy as he looked at his cards and there was a girl sitting on his lap. The girl had long white hair and beautiful brown eyes. The girl was yuuki. Inupi eyes widened when he realised who that girl was. Every few minutes, yuuki would kiss the man on the lips, not even bothered if people were staring at her. Every kiss was an arrow into Inui's heart. He could not stand it anymore. Yuuki was about to give another kiss to the anonymous man when her light brown eyes locked onto Inui's tear-filled dark emerald eyes. Her eyes widened in shock and surprise and she was about to call Inui when he started to run, running as fast as his legs could go. Away from her. Away from the so called love of his life.
       He ran back to his apartment, not even noticing the tears that was streaming down his face. All he wanted was to disappear, for the pain to go away. When he reached the apartment, he was too impatient to wait for the lift and just ran up the stairs, even though he was living on the 14th story. He opened the door with his remaining strength and slammed the door shut. He paced around, not wanting that moment to sink in. He thought 'Maybe it was someone else. Someone who look like yuuki. But didn't she widened her eyes when she saw me? Doesn't that mean she recognised me?' Inui couldn't believe it. The girl he had been dating for 2 years just played him this whole time and he never ever realised it.

Present,

      "But babe!" "Yuuki, let me say this to you to make sure this is clear. We.are.over."Those words pierced into yuuki's heart. She had never expected this kind boy to ever utter those words. Inui heart shattered as he say those words that he had alway hoped to never say to his girlfriend. To say those words was very painful for him. Tears filled yuuki's eyes and it was hard for her to see. All she wanted to do was to disappear. She left,running away as fast as she could, leaving inui heartbroken and angry. 'This is why you should never have dated at all, stupid Inui!" He kept rambling in his head as he stepped in to the shower to cool off and forget about his now ex girlfriend. He started singing 'Mr loverman.'
     "Ive shattered now, I'm spilling out. Upon this linoleum ground. I'm reeling in my brain again. Before it can get back to you. Oh what am I supposed to do without you?" He sang as he wore a fresh pair of clothes and dragged himself to his bed. His body sank into the soft mattress, that alone making him feel like falling asleep. Slowly, he began to drift off to dreamland, a place where he always hoped he could stay in but knew that reality will always drag him back to where fate thought he belonged in. Life will never be fair towards him.
