Season 2 of 'What a shame', which is named 'Downfall of Kokonoi Hajime' continues on from here, where a certain someone wakes up from his everlasting world of nothing...
His vision cleared to find himself in... a hospital bed? There was a nurse there, looking at her phone and turned to face him. "Oh! Your awake sir. I'll get the doctor." The nurse smiled and walked out of the room, leaving him alone, dazed and confused. 'How long has it been since that day? Where is he? Is he okay? Is he safe?' The male thought as he waited. A few minutes later, a male with a doctor's coat came in along with the same nurse from before. "You sir are lucky. You have been in a coma for about five years. I have alerted some friends of yours that your awake so please rest for now." The doctor said. "Nurse yuuki, take care of him for now." 'Yuuki...? Why does that name sound so familiar.... Wait... is it her?!" The doctor left, leaving the two alone. "Hello again." "You bitch. I thought you should be rotting in jail?" "Ha! I made sure there wasn't evidence that would trace back to me and then I fled the scene." "I will get you." "You can try, but you will always fail. Goodbye for now, I hope to see you very soon." "Wait!" Yuuki jumped out from the window and no, she didn't die. A helicopter was apparently waiting for her and she jumped into it. The helicopter left, leaving him angry and ready for revenge. 'Just you wait and see, Yuuki. I will get my revenge for what you did.' The male's eyes closed and he drifted off to sleep.
A few hours later, he woke to the sound of voices. "What...?" "Oh my god, your finally awake. Have you finally risen from the pits of hell?" "Sanzu...?" "What's up money maker? Although, your probably broke by now or maybe not? Who knows?" "How much was spent on your drugs?" "Hey! It wasn't even for me! It was for your hospital bills and for Bonten things!" "He's telling the truth Kokonoi. Welcome back to the living." "Hey to you too Rindou." The door slide opened to reveal the other members of bonten except for the boss and Baji. Doctor said you'll be discharged latest by the end of the week." "No, I need to be discharged now." Kokonoi said, struggling to get out of the bed. "Are you sure you can even walk, Kokonoi?"Kakucho asked, eyebrows raised. "Um, probably not." Kokonoi said, dejected. "What's the rush?" Takeomi asked. "I need revenge and I want to see... Inupi." The members of Bonten side-eyed each other, not sure what they should say. "Look, kokonoi. Inui... Inui is dead." Ran said hesitantly, not wanting to break te news to the male but knew he had to. "W-what...how...?" "He got shot by that girl, Yuuki kuzume after she shot you." Mochi said, clamness etched in his voice. "Do you want us to give you some privacy?" Rindou asked. "Yes, thanks guys." "We'll see you tommorow with baji and boss." Kakucho says. "They left afterwards, leaving kokonoi alone with his thoughts. The one thought that struck out however, was the thirst for revenge, for himslef and more importantly, for his inupi.
As promised, the members of Bonten came back with Baji and Mikey. "Hey man." "Hey baji... Hello boss." "I know you want revenge on Yuuki Kuzume, kokonoi, but it will not be easy. She created a gang with perfection and she was trained since little by one of the most famous sensei's in japan. We'll back you up, but if it becomes too difficult, then we must move on to our other problems." Mikey says emotionessly, looking at Kokonoi with sleepiness in his eyes. "Thank you boss." "We will talk more about this topic once you recover. Good day, kokonoi." Mikey hopped off his chair before walking off, leaving the rest of bonten with kokonoi. The rest of bonten chatted with the hospitalised boy before they each had their own missions to go to. The last member still stuck around however, wanting to talk to him. "Don't you need to go for your mission, baji?" "Yah, but I can just make sanzu take care of that mission. I wanted to give you this." Baji said as he pulled out a big box from his bagpack, handing it over to kokonoi. Curiosity overwhelmed him but the sorrow look on baji's face told another story, as if regretting giving him the box. The male opened the box, expecting it to be some kind of late christmas present but instead recognised the item all to well. Realisation hit him so hard that he almost forgot how to breathe.
It was a pair of high heels, but not just any high heels. It was the high heels that he bought especially for inui that day they went shopping, kokonoi telling the taller that he looked the best with those high heels, like the prettiest boy his eyes had ever layed upon. It took a lot of willpower for the male to not breakdown and cry in front of baji, not wanting to show weakness and pain that were alreday, he realised too late, plastered on his face. The beads of pesperation, the pale face, and the glassy eyes that shined brightly. "Chifuyu found this in his apartment a few months ago while he was clearing out inui's things and found your name on the box so he wanted me to give this to you. You need some time alone?" Baji asked, already knowing the answer to his question. "Yes please. Thank you baji, for bringing this. Thank chifuyu for me too." Kokonoi croaked, managing to talk after being gifted with such a gift. "No rpoblem. Don't do anything stupid on your own, kokonoi. Bonten is here for you. Me and Chifuyu will help you up on your feet too. Get well soon, kokonoi. See ya tommorow!" "Bye." Baji waved a hand goodbye and left, leaving kokonoi with a gift from his dead love and a deeply wounded and broken heart. Tears flowed down from his eyes, to his cheeks and fell freely onto his bed. A dead look settled on his face and he smiled no more. He was only thinking about his goal. 'Kill...murder...Yuuki...Inupi...dead...her fault...MUST PAY!' were exactly kokonoi's thoughts that streamed through his mind. His eyelid suddenly felt heavy and he slowly shut them close, falling into his dreamland, his head full of thought about his Inupi.
A/n: Hey guys! In season 2, Kokonoi Hajime has awoken all of a sudden after being in a coma for five years and now is up and planning for revenge for his dead love. Will he be successful? Or will he drown in his own pool of blood like he should have five years ago? And why did Mochi lied about the death of Inui Seishu? Well, it will only be revealed later on... So finally, I have updated this story after a long time. However, due to lack of motivation and time, this story will have really slow updates. I have finshed chapter 13 and am still halfway through writing chapter 14 so please, don't leave this story unfinished because well...
