We've been walking in the woods for what seems to be forever. All I could think about was, what Rogelio said to me. I'm not even sure that he did. I mean why would he say that to me. I'm just his friend.....at least I was his friend until today. I just can't believe him.

                  *************

We're here! I'm so happy. I look around me. Happy moment is gone. The little town I live in isn't any better.

There's like only 4, 5 street lamps and there not close to each other. Everyone's asleep. At least over here it is. There's no cars on the road, anything can happen.

We walked to a parking lot. The man turned towards us, "split up and look for a car that's open." He said, while walking off.

My mom raised her eyebrows at him, "okay?" She said, walking off in a different direction and giving me a small smile. "Wanna come with me?" She asked me. I shook my head, "no. I'll be fine," I said walking off in a different direction, leaving Rosalio.

I've been searching for a few minutes, until I finally found one. It was a black Pontiac. It was parked pretty far, too. I grabbed the handel and opened the door.

I was about to get in, but stopped as my body started to get cold quick. I fell to the ground and started to get dizzy. My eyesight was getting blurry and I started shaking hard. I blacked out.
I'm running. I can't see. Someone is calling my name, "Minica! Minica! Minica!" The voice yelled. It was a man. I kept running,  but I can't see, I can't feel anything.
Memories with my dad and I were flooding my brain. I screamed and screamed,"daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Where are you?! Why did you leave me alone, daddy!....... Daddy I'm scared, come back! Please daddy!" I cried out so hard that my voice started hurting.
"I'm right here sweetie! I didn't mean to leave, princessa. They where going to hurt you if I didn't leave......but I got away. I've been looking for you ever since. Please, princessa don't think like that. I would never leave you or your mom. I love you, princessa." My cries softened. " I love you too, daddy"
I whispered. "Where are you!"
Silence. Dreadful silence. "Why don't you answer! Where are you!?" Silence.

I shot straight up as I woked up panting from that dreadful dream. I was still freezing, but I could feel myself warm up. My vision came back and I remember what I'm supposed to do.

I instantly got up and started hot wiring the car. I know I'm not supposed to know how to do this stuff, but I can't help it. Yes! I got it! The car roared as I cheered. I got on and started to drive towards where we separated .

As I started to drive, tears started to come to my eyes. I have no idea why. I reached for the tears falling from my eyes. I'm crying! I don't understand why, though.

I looked up and saw all of them standing there looking at me, or more like the car. They  moved on to the sidewalk and watch as I stopped in front of them. I stepped out of the car and smiled at them as they stared back at me with disbelief.

"Minica, I can't believe you!" My mom gasped at me. The man walked towards me,"nice job," he said, as I stepped aside to let him get in the driver's seat. My mom started walking towards the front seat, next to the man. I looked at Rosalio and saw him grinning at me. I just rolled my eyes at him and got in the back seat.

We were all silent. No one knew what to say. I just stared at the man. He looked extremely familiar. I feel like I know him, but I just can't ask him. "Why did you do this, Rosalio?" My mom said breaking the silence.

I looked at him and his color drained from his eyes as he bowed his head down. "Well, me and my mom where-"he was cut off by my mom,"wait. How come your mom hasn't called for you?" She asked, confused. He looked up at her, "oh, she was in the house, too. I had helped her escape and I told her to just stay home. That I'll be back." He said. My mom raised her eyebrows. "And she believed you?" She asked. He nodded, "after a while." He said. "Oh, well continue to say what you were saying," she said.
