"Okay, so is she really kidnapped?" The little girl asked.

"I don't know, but we're about to find out soon."

"Are they gonna crash?!" Another voice questioned.

"Will they evew be successful with theiw wescue?!"

The group started to ask all at the same time. Michaelle didn't know what to do, knowing that the kids won't be able to hear them.

"Okay, kids. You must quiet down or else, Michaelle won't be able to finish the story for you guys." A female voice intercepted. They all look up and recognized who it was.

"Hi, Miss Alecsandra!" The kids greeted. Two or three kids ran up to her and hugged her by the legs. She smiled at them as she patted them on the head.

Alecsandra worked at the library with Amity. She was offered the job as an assistant to the librarian. Alec was categorizing books and arranging the index cards because a group of teens was messing around. After doing all those, she decided to visit Michaelle and the kids, mainly for Michaelle.

Talk about having a huge crush, am I right?

"H-Hey, Alec."

Michaelle mentally swore for stuttering in front of her, a faint blush showing on her face.

"Hey, Michkey," Alec replied, tucking some strands of hair behind her ear with her cheeks turning pink.

The youngsters took notice of this interaction and gave each other a knowing look. Braxus stood up and grabbed hold of Alec's hand, pulling her towards their ring of friends. The other kids followed suit.

"Will you join us and Michaelle, Miss Alecsandra? They are absolutely great at reading the story for us, especially making character voices." Braxus claimed.

Alec's eyes widened with surprise. The others, except Michaelle, also begged for her to join. She looked at Michaelle before looking back at the children.

"Well, if it's okay with Michaelle, then I will."

She folded her arms and looked away, red on the face and biting her lower lip. The little ones turned their heads toward Michaelle as if begging them to say yes.

"I-I'm a-actually okay with i-it. So, y-yeah... Sh-she can join in."

They looked down at their feet and held the book close to their chest as if they were hiding something, while a shade of pink dusted across their cheeks.

The kids cheered happily. They let Alec sit down at the center of their circle. As soon Alec sat down, they all had their attention on Michaelle.

"Okay. Let's continue from where we left off."

A loud sigh of boredom left from the young girl's lips. She was looking down at the sea as she was standing by the ship's front deck.

"Miss Amity?" A male voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

She turned around and was met with the captain of the ship, Captain Seabasstian.

"We are ready to set sail towards home. We need you inside for your safety." He said.

Amity could only nod and made her way towards her cabin downstairs.

But before the ship could turn and for Amity to return to her cabin, a loud bang was heard and almost hit the side of the ship, rocking the ship sidewards. Everyone on board lost their balance and fell on the floor.

Captain Seabasstian held on a barrel to keep his balance as he took out his brass telescope. He looked through the telescope and saw a ship, sailing towards them. As he zoomed in more, he realized that it was Salty's ship.
