CHAPTER 15: Hallucinations and lost Hope- The feeling of cold hard ground against my skin woke me. 'What happened?' I asked myself and everything came rushing back to me as if a dam had broken. I was frozen in fear and I couldn't help but begin weeping.

I tried moving around but noticed my hands were tied feeling the rope bite harshly into my wrists.

But, I wouldn't give up, I had to try something. I brought the rope up to my teeth trying to bite into it, but it felt as if the rope was made out of metal and had teeth of its own.

As I was going to attempt biting through it again, I heard a whimper come from the other side of the cold dark and damp room.

I froze feeling my blood run cold. 'Was he in here with me? Watching me struggle?' I hesitantly opened my mouth cowering deeper into the corner. "H-hello?" I croaked my voice raw and unused. Another whimper. "H-hello, is someone in h-here with me?" I asked, my body trembling in fear. "H-hello?" a small voice asked and I searched the room trying to see anything- as if the dark would magically turn into light or I would get night vision. "What's your name?" I asked. "My name is R-Rachel." She said and I realized it was the girl that had been kidnapped.

Then realization hit me like a freight train, 'How could I be so stupid?!' I asked myself wanting to bash my head into the wall.

The man who had been kidnapping and killing all of those girls had kidnapped me and had me, was I going to die... or worse? "You- you are the girl that went missing and is all over the news..." I said. "So they are looking for m-me?" she asked her voice sad and with a tint of hope. "Yes! They are looking for you and your family misses you!" I said and I heard a sob come from her.

I pushed myself up and out of the corner. "Where are you?" I asked and I felt a cold tiny hand grasp my shoulder and I jumped covering my mouth with my hand.

I wrapped the girl in a hug instantly, knowing it would comfort her, and I could feel her surprise just as I felt her cold skin against mine. "What's your name?" she asked and I smiled into the dark. "Laura." I said and I could feel her nod against my shoulder. "Do you know where we are?" I asked her "No." she said sadly and I sighed, holding her tight. "I will find a way to get us out of here okay?" I asked and I could feel her doubt but she nodded crying into my shoulder, and that's when I couldn't help but sob into her shoulder feeling myself fill with fear and sadness.

Fear for the unknown and fear for what I knew was coming. We stayed like that holding each other and telling each other stories about our families. I was the first to hear it, the sound of a door opening, or a key in a lock.

I tensed and felt her freeze beside me. "He- he's coming!" she said and I could hear the fear leak into her voice. "O-okay stay behind me whatever you do and stay quiet okay?" I asked and she nodded.

I saw the faint outline of a shadow, and then a dim light came on but even that made my eyes burn from the difference. "W-who are you? What do you want?!" I asked and I heard a chuckle and saw the shadow come closer. "Laura, I can't believe you don't know who I am. I am the one who has been sending you all those secret admirer messages, you silly you!" a deep voice said, and he came out of the shadow, he was white, and had short dark brown hair and a light beard covering his jaw, he had dark green, muddy brown eyes and a sharp jaw.

Overall I would have thought him handsome, but the cold and insane malice in his eyes took away any beauty that he might have. "What do you want from me?!" I asked and I heard him chuckle. "Oh Laura, what a stupid question. I want you." He said simply and unlocked the cell door causing the girl behind me to tense, but I would not back down.

He chuckled again and I could only notice how evil and sinister it sounded.

I noticed he was holding a small Styrofoam bowl in his hand and a napkin and spoon he came closer kneeling close to me.
