What is 'Forever'?
Forever is a promise to eternally stay together,
It's a pledge to love one another til death and after,
It's an oath to endlessly share love and laughter,
It's a hug, a kiss, a small subtle smile,
It's a chance to make a sad life worthwhile,
Yet, 'forever' can sometimes utterly fail,
You can promise it and yet to no avail,
People can die,
And hearts be broken,
And the kind words once uttered be left unspoken
Forever can be good,
But it can also hurt and scar,
Because it can come and go,
Like a pale shooting star.
So remember that forever,
Is just a word,
And love should be seen,
Not just heard.
