I laid down on the field of grass, staring at the clouds, happy to finally be through with all of this craziness. After a long journey of facing many battles and many difficulties, we're finally home and we finally freed our kingdom. After all these months... "I can't believe it," Rift said as he laid down in the grass next to me. "It's... finally over." I turned my head to look at him. "It's wonderful, isn't it?" He nodded. I took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air. After a long journey of hardships, it's nice to finally relax. "This is nice, just laying down in the grass, staring at clouds. It's a nice change of pace after everything we've been through," I say, sitting up. "You said it, Klez," Rift stands up. "But... what if that was our only big adventure?" I stand up with him. "What.. what do you mean?" He walks forward a bit, and I can tell he's about to monologue. "I became a soldier.. adventurer.. hunter.. whatever, because I wanted to go on adventures like that. And I used to get a lot of the adventures I went on from the forest and trying to get through the jungle with Cookie. But now... there's nothing really dangerous in the jungle, and people can move in and out freely.. so... I'm wondering if that was the last adventure we've ever went on." "Dude, just because we got rid of the bad stuff doesn't mean we won't go on more adventures," I walk to stand next to him. "We still have a bunch of lands to travel to, cities to visit, countries to see, if anything, this is the beginning for us," I stand in front of him and grab his hands. "Think of the possibilities. Our journey's far from over!" I stare into his eyes and I can see a shimmer of hope and excitement in them. "Yeah! It's far from over!" He smiles. "Then let's go you big dummy!" I let go of his hands and give him a pat on the back as we walk back to the city to prepare for what we might do next.
