He had his arms wrapped tightly around me and he attacked my face and neck with kisses and playful bites
Tyler: (mumbles into her neck) I can't help that you're looking so good right now.
Akeylah: Thank you but I have to go babe!
Tyler: (sighs and lets go) What even is this again?
Akeylah: The bridal shower/brunch. Both of our moms are hosting it so I don't want to be late.
Tyler: How far is the place from here?
Akeylah: An hour.
Tyler: I'll let your cute ass go then.
Akeylah: (smiles) Thank you.

I greeted everyone else as I sat down at the table.
Akeylah: So what's good here? This place is all "boujie bourgeoise".
Christina: I've been here a time or two and the seafood quiche is so good.
Akeylah: You had me at seafood!
Carter: Chrissy? Have you had the soufflé French toast??
Christina: Ugh! One of my favorites! You should get it!
Carter: (shrugs) Well alright.
Domonique: Wait...that actually sounds good. I'll order that too.
Michelle: The salmon Nicoise salad sound like a winner to me...
Baylei: I'm interested in these crab croquettes!
Khadijah: Y'all talking about the food, this cranberry cosmopolitan is calling my name!
The waiter came over and took all of our orders and we made small talk while we waited for our food and drinks.
Akeylah: Okay guys! What do you have in store for me??
