[The cameras turned on to reveal the alliance meeting area. This area is where our new trainees will meet for the first time ever. They will then form their alliance based on a special connecting keyword that relates to every single trainee in the alliance. Three tunnels lead to the centre of the room, which was where the entrance to the ranking stage was located. Suddenly, a set of footsteps sounded throughout the Korean tunnel. I wonder which Korean trainee will enter the alliance meeting area first?]

💬 ?? | K GROUP:
"Wow! This place is a lot bigger than I expected!"

[The camera zoomed in on the trainee's name tag. This trainee is Kayla Seong from YG Entertainment and she was also a contestant on a previous Mnet survival show, Mix & Match.]

💬 KAYLA SEONG | K GROUP:
"I should probably introduce myself to the lovely viewers. Hello, I'm Kayla Seong and I'm from YG."

💬 ?? | C GROUP:
"Hello! Is anyone else in this super dark room or is it just me! God, I'm being held captive..."

💬 KAYLA SEONG | K GROUP:
"Hey! I'm here too!"

[The lost Chinese trainee stepped into the light, where Kayla already stood. The second trainee is SM Entertainment's Xu Chenjie.]

💬 XU CHENJIE | C GROUP:
"Hello, I'm Xu Chenjie but you can just call me Chandler as it's easier to say."

💬 KAYLA SEONG | K GROUP:
"Hi, Chandler. I'm Kayla Seong."

💬 XU CHENJIE | C GROUP:
"Wow! You seem kind of familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?"

💬 KAYLA SEONG | K GROUP:
"Well....."

[Just as Kayla was about to speak, a loud crash echoed through the Japanese tunnel. The noise came from Japanese trainee, Minatozaki Yua of JYP Entertainment.]

💬 MINATOZAKI YUA | J GROUP:
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to break the camera. Please forgive me, Mr Director."

[For anyone wondering, the camera was replaced. Minatozaki Yua stepped forward into the light and stood between the other two trainees. All three girls had finally entered the connection circle and the circle lite up to signify that the first alliance had been formed.]
