[It had been two days since the first advisor evaluation finished and all ninety six trainees had moved into their alliance dorms. Right now, all of the girls sat in their rooms, getting ready for today's activities.]

💬 PRODUCER:
"Can all trainees please report to the main hall? The second mission is about to begin. You have ten minutes before attendance starts."

[Absolute chaos broke out in the dorms as all of the trainees rushed to finish their morning tasks or even wake up before heading to the main hall for attendance. The editing team had to cut a lot of the footage to ensure the episode wasn't messy. Within those ten minutes, all of the trainees have arrived.]

💬 YANG MINHA | J GROUP:
"What do you think we're doing here?"

💬 HWANG YEONHEE | K GROUP:
"Didn't you hear the announcement, dingus? They said, we're starting the second mission. Which means, we'll get to pick teams and such."

[Just as J Group's Yang Minha was about to respond to K Group's Hwang Yeonhee, the door had opened to reveal the host, Vernon. Everyone squealed in delight at the sight of the boy.]

💬 VERNON | MESSENGER:
"Hello, trainees. I'm your host or the official messenger of Girls Rule, I'm Vernon Chwe. Today is an exciting day as we will be revealing the second mission. Your second mission is the group battle. Two teams will have the same song but one battle will have three groups with different songs. The winning group members will each win a benefit of one thousand votes and this will also benefit your alliance members as well. The battle of the three groups will win a double benefit of two thousand votes."

[Everyone gasped at the thought.]

💬 VERNON | MESSENGER:
"I know that's a lot but you will deserve it. Now onto the sad part of the mission, there will be an elimination occurring at the end. Only seventy two trainees will enter the next round. This means eight alliances or twenty four trainees will be eliminated. We have finally gotten the casualties out of the way, now it is now time to reveal your next mission, the Connection Mission!"

[The curtain over the wall fell down to reveal all of the song choices for the showcase. Many of the trainees gasped at the choices. The choices were Yes or Yes, How You Like That, SSFWL, Fiesta, The Eve, and Pretty U. There was one more choice on the wall but it was covered by a sticker.]

"I'm surprised they're letting us perform a boy group song because Mnet usually only lets the trainees perform girl group songs but thats excited. I hope I end up with the Eve. I think that song is a really good chance for me to show off my charisma."
