A Better Me

" Remember "

A beam of sunlight woke me up as I felt the presence of someone beside me and the moment I was going to regret another hook-up , I realised .. that it was no other man , it was Lincoln . I was wrapped up in his strong muscular arms and our legs tangled together . He slept by my side all night , facing towards me . He was sleeping so peacefully , he was still looking gorgeous . I decided not to disturb him and slowly put his heavy hands aside and was going to pull out my legs when -

" Arghh you are awake !! Shitttt !! I am sorry !! I know you are thinking the worst of me now , I swear we didn't had sex , I didn't take advantage of you . Please don't leave like this . Okay I am sor- "

" Heyy !! You dummy head !! Can you just shut for a second !? " I glared at him , narrowing my eyebrows .

" Yes , I am awake because I was hungry . Why would I think the worst of you ? I know we didn't had sex , and I trust you too . I am not leaving , I was just hungry so I woke up . Calm down "
He was looking at me stunned yet relieved .

" What ?? You want a round of cuddles ?? "

He was still looking at me but this time , he was looking at me with his puppy eyes , and damn I melted .

" Nevermind .. breakfast can wait "

I snuggled under the blanket in his arms , I rested my head on his chest . He held my hand , intertwining our fingers . With his another hand , he started tickling me ,

" Stop it !! " I said while laughing so hard , I was way too sensitive for tickles .

" What if I don't ? "

" If you stop , I'll make you breakfast .. now stop "

" U sure , peaches ? "

" Yeah yeah stop " he stopped , we sat on the bed facing towards each other , I could see his face , he was regretting something or he was nervous about something .
I asked ,

" Hey Linc .. are you okay ? " I put my hand on his hand , slowly caressing it .

" I think we should stop this "

I was shocked , I was completely taken aback .. after all these things , he wants to stop it ?

" What should we stop , Lincoln ? "

" These all .. because one more minute I spend with you , I don't think so I would be able to let you go . I said all my feelings yesterday night , yeah , I know it's selfish of me to say all the things without even knowing yours .. but Chels after seeing you like that , yesterday , it made me realise that I really like you and I want to be with you . I know you said it too , that you like me and want to be with me , but you weren't sober at that time , and I didn't want you to make any rash decisions .
So I think it's better to stop before I fall for ... Aahh , okay nevermind , you can use the washroom , there are spare clothes of mine in the wardrobe , you can wear any , I'll be waiting downstairs for breakfast " he said as he got up from the bed to head downstairs .

I held his hand , " Lincoln ... Would you mind sparing me a minute ? "
He sat on the bed , in front of me .

" Lincoln ... I remember "
" I remember each and every thing , we went to a bridge , you brought ice creams , we rode cycles to our secret place , there you had everything planned , that amazing view of the city , me opening up to you , we confessing our feelings , how you sang love at first sight , how we held our hands down the street , how you carried me to home and how we slept in each other's arms last night . I was a little drunk but that doesn't mean , I would forget my first date . " I smiled , " The decisions I took last night , I don't regret a single one of it , I want to be with you . "

I took his hands in mine , and let out a sigh ,

" I never knew ... I would fall in love at first sight ... " There was a long pause , Linc waiting for me to complete ,

" I l-lo-love yo-you Linc .. at first I thought it was lust , but last night  .. I realised it wasn't lust , it was love .. I fell for you Linc "

He came closer , cupped my face with his palms and kissed me .
Our lips inter locked with our fingers intertwined and our hearts thumping against our chests . It's felt like the time stopped , it was just him and I , it was magical . He parted his lips and said , " I love you too Chels .. it isn't lust anymore , it's love . "

He pulled me closer and made me sit on his lap with my legs wrapped around his wait and my hands wrapped around his neck .  He kissed me again , our lips were interlocked again , but this time our tongues found an acess to each other's , it danced in unison and at that moment it was damn hard to keep our lips apart from each others .
I bit his lip slightly and he left a moan as he made his way to neck . He started planting kisses on my neck .
" Ouch .. that tickles " I giggled as I said when he went near my collar bones and started kissing them , making sure to leave love marks . He came up near the earlobe , I was moving my fingers between his hair as he bit the place below my earlobe , I slightly pulled his hair and left out a satisfying moan , " Ahhhh ~ "

" Peaches , I won't be able to control myself if you don't stop with your moans "

" Who asked you to control ... Daddy ? " I winked at him as he got up from the bed .
He came back and placed a gentle kiss on my lips .

" Let's go and eat " he headed downstairs .

" Heyy !! I'll make the breakfast "
I shouted running behind him downstairs .
