Chapter 5: Little flame

-Flame had tried to save Kai barely managed to also, for when the dragon of fire had desperately strained to catch said master it only managed to save him from falling straight to the hard and jagged ground bellow, and from their calculating height his survival was just as surreal as the splat marks of red he'd surely leave if not for his companions intervention, with a small nudge from the elemental dragon the red nin landed not-to-gracefully, might I add, on the very hard ground with many audible thuds.- "ah! AUGH! Ow!" -The lone flame groaned as he bounced about skidding a few times before collapsing to an uneasy halt. Panting, the young man recovered slightly only to make the mistake of trying to stand. The wild fire was fine for a second before collapsing back onto his rump because he was so incredibly disoriented.- "Graaa.." -His company whined as it flew besides him instinctively trying to help its master to health.- "I'm alright flame..promise." -Said master gently denied the help of his companion, though in much pain, for you see the gentleman was covered in various wounds such as scrapes and gashes, bruises and rashes, the ninja clad in Crimson also was harboring many fractures and sprains in various areas of his damaged body, he also acquired three broken ribs from his "fall".- "Haugh!" -The ex-blacksmith had managed to choke out as he lurched over and regurgitated all the bile that had come up and had finished this by spitting up a few mouthfuls of dark rich blood, to which once again his trusty Flame had whined worriedly to.- "I'm-..f-fine..-" -Our favorite spiky haired friend had blacked out onto the belly of his dragon,- "F-flame..." -Was all that our hero could muster before he slowly felt the last of his strength deterior and being dragged away into the peaceful paradise of dreamland..or so he thought..-
