XIII. Sidelines

I hate all of them for being this way! I hate Ally for being so unconscious of their feelings! But then again I can’t be mad to all of them. I love them all and I hate it because of that. Grrrr.

This Kahel person! He’s so frustrating and very confusing ALL THE TIME! Why do he have to say those words as if to taunt me? I know what he meant by that but why do I get the feeling that he’s trying to say something else? GRrrrrrrrrrrr. He’s very confusing. Tsss. Whatever Kahel!

The same goes for Luke. I don’t know what really happened to him but one thing is for sure, he’s now a different person. To think that he can say that he doesn’t love Ally anymore with his own mouth is suffocating for me. I know I am over reacting but it’s true. I saw him love her in the corners. I saw him became so over possessive and protective when it comes to her. I saw him move mountains just for her. Well that’s metaphorically speaking but that’s the truth. I just can’t accept the fact that one day, Luke can tell us that he doesn’t love Ally anymore. I don’t get him too!

And then there’s Yuki, Paul and my brother! I dunno what my best friend did for her to be loved by these stupid boys but this situation is very very much…. unlikable.

Still, I wanted to talk to Ally. Everyone’s already aware that she’s alive so I’m okay going near her now. My problem is that Aldie. For sure he knows that Ally will encounter us at school but why did he allow her to enroll at LMPU in the first place? I can’t get him as well! Boys are so frustrating! ALL OF THEM! Tsk.

“She’s outside, I wanted to talk to her,” I told Damien. I’m not usually asking his permission but I can’t seem to decide for myself right now.

“Me too, sis. But let’s not push this today. We’ll have time for that. For the meantime, let’s have some rest okay?” he kissed my forehead and I just nodded.

Then I remembered Luke. This is probably the first time he’ll see her after that accident. I wonder what his reaction would be. Outside, I went to the cashier. I can see Ally’s side view. She’s on her usual seat. On Damien’s favorite part of this café. I can see the special treatment but what can I do? He’s also madly in love with her. I’m not against it though I just feel it unlikable sometimes especially when all them are fighting just because of her. It just seemed to be so unfair. The fact that she’s doing nothing really bothers me.

Ally seemed to not notice the stares she’s getting from this group of boys who are already agitated to talk to her. She’s wearing earphones and peacefully reading a book. What a sight. Who would want to disturb that right? My twin brother is now with me on the counter while Kahel and Yuki sat on the couches across Ally. Paul and Luke stayed on the counter’s bar still looking at Ally. I look at Luke’s face and I can see some spark on his eyes while looking at her. I knew it! He’s still in love with her. It’s like he doesn’t know it himself but everyone can tell that he is! I can sense the other guys look at Luke as well. I can’t blame them. He said something so weird and unacceptable earlier. They will surely watch over his actions.

While I’m checking the counter’s stocks, I look at the boys one by one. I guess I can’t call them boys anymore. They were attracting too much attention even to older people.

The Jap/Korean cousins who are both sitting on the couch have this fair skin that you cannot ignore. Even if Yuki looks younger than Kahel, both of them have this lean body that shows how sporty they are. You can also sense that they are blood related. Their eyes are both chinky, yet, you can still see the difference. Both them shows this coldness towards others whom I think they don’t know of. Well, this is probably the reason why they were named as Ice and Rime Princes in our university. Suits them well if you will just look at them like this. Still, it is odd hearing people call them such names. But then again, you’ll get used to it as time goes by because of that system in our school. It sucks I know. But what can I do? We are part of the society built for only the royalties. This is probably the reason why those people built this system. Another past time for them. A diversion to still show that there are still divisions among us. Rich people versus rich people. Knowledge versus knowledge. And skills versus skills. There is still fun right? The only thing I like about this system is it is just. It is unbiased in a way that it can’t be manipulated by anyone as the scores are automatically showing in the tabulator the moment you hit finish. It also automatically ranks the top 15 students. I sighed. I hope everything is just simple as that.
