XXII. Her Music

"Remind me why we're here again," Liam said agitated.

"Relax Liam," I said this not looking at him but with the commotion happening below.

"This is not so like you Ced," Atala was here too not sure why but I guess she was persuaded by Liam.

"That's what I'm saying! This is so unlike you Ced,"

"What?" I asked them looking confused though I know what they meant.

"This is stalking Ced. Man! You're stalking a girl. And the thing is, just an ordinary girl. You can have someone do the stalking for you! You don't have to drag us into this. Can you even believe that?" I did not answer. Well I wanted to see for myself how saintly this person really is. Nic triggered the thought so might as well check it myself.

"Ordinary is probably an understatement Liam," I smirk at him and look back at the crowd of people enveloping the whole court watching the scene.

"Yeah. Probably," he replied sarcastically. Then, I heard him sigh.

After that, I did not pay attention to neither Liam nor Atala anymore whom I guess already left as Liam became quiet. My eyes are keen on observing that scene below. It's a good thing we're in a private lounge near their area. I wonder what happened to her. But that's not actually my concern.

My concern is why most of my royals are so worried about her. What is so good about her?

"Liam," I look at him as he's not answering. He's lying on the sofa adjacent to mine. Still not looking at me and still tapping on his phone.

"Ehemmm," he sighed heavily.

"Fine. I know that you'll ask me to search about the history of their group and the background of each individual in a matter of time so I already did it beforehand," he's really dependable when it comes to gathering information. He's family is known for it but not so many are aware.

"I already sent them to your email,"

"I'll check the specifics later. You tell me the overview," he sighs again. Heavier than usual. Liam. Liam. Liam.

"Your royals as you already know are heirs of different business tycoons in and out of the country. Very renowned families. Some of them are childhood friends but all of them met and got closer during their high school years at LMPU's HS division,"

"Define CLOSE?"I don't think that that's the best description for all of them right now.

"I know. Weird if you don't know the story. Well, they were the famous group we are hearing before we enter this university after all. Given that your royals are all well-mannered, they befriended her and that's it. Everything's history," there are still things that doesn't make sense.

"Aside all the glory, the girl you stalking right now is just an average kid who happens to be so smart to have scholarship up till now. And yes, knowing that, she could really pass as one of your royals in terms of academics. Not sure if she'll do well in sports nowadays as she's excuse so we don't have any current data for her in that field,"

"What do you mean?"

"Well as you see, she just fainted. Probably because she exerted herself too much. She's still rehabilitating as far as I know," this girl is too mysterious. Makes you want to know more.

"From what?" Liam's brows furrowed. Am I being too curious now? As what as Liam said, this is the first time someone made me want so much more information about them. Interesting indeed.
