Mark and Haechan were like a debate team. You would think that there is nothing wrong with having a discussion, having different opnions on things, which is totally right. The difference between a debate and a discussion is the level on aggression and anger level. But it seemed like mark and haechan finally came to terms. On their way to the woods there were still arguing but now after what just happened , they realised how pointless their differences were in their current situation, who cares if you like mint  chocolate or not when you just got into a near death situation.

(Of course Renjun and Jeno unknowingly to the two helped them)

Without speaking a word both knew they had to come to terms and put it together. Jeno wasnt a dense brick and immediatly saw their change in behaviour and smiled to himself. He tapped renjun on the shoulder and nodded in their direction. Renjun got what he meant and also smiled.

Jisung didnt know what got into him to just straight up shoot that zombie down in not even a blink of eye. The boy couldnt even speak a word in a fight between his relatives and here he 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒅  something down. He was never so proud of himself. His wish came true: he was more confident. The six people didnt know jisung at all and thought he was a shy cute boy who couldnt even hurt a fly, but they saw now that he was also tough.

Chenle felt the same, he knew his bestfriend was sensibel and a softie. He also knew how his bestfriend wished to be tough and confident, so that he can speak up for himself.

"Jisung you were really great back there, i didnt know you shoot like that" Yuri said while patting his shoulder.
Jisung was now a grinning while saying "Thank you, noona, it means a lot"
"Yuri's right, you were really admirable " jaemin said while going between yuri and jisung, having one arm around the girl and the other around the tall boy.

they came out of woods finally, city lights meeting their eyes and got welcomed by a noise behind them.

Not 𝒐𝒏𝒆  noise but a 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇  noises. They step back and saw a few yellow eyes looking at them.

Like jisung before they took out their weapons. Now they knew those belong to zombies and not to a  friendly creature minding its own buisness. The zombies slowly came out of the woods revealing themselves.

And the shooting began. It was a bloody massacre on the zombie side.

Eventhrough it was their first time using a machine gun and the fact of them being untrained, they kept using the trigger firing bullets in the direction of the zombies. After a while, all of them got the trick behind using a gun and were more on the skilled side. The shooting ended with none of the eight of them being hurt, the same thing couldnt be said about the zombies. Body parts could be seen on the grass being shot by multiple bullets.

Always stepping back and keeping a good distance while using the trigger really saved their lifes.

"Ok team we are near the base already,🅜︎🅐︎🅓︎ 🅒︎🅘︎🅣︎🅨︎ is in front of us"

All of them started walking towards the City lights with Mark and haechan Leading them.

"One thing is odd" yuri said quietly to renjun while walking behind the other six.
"What is odd ???" renjun whispered back.
"The zombies almost worked like a team" yuri said. Why would a bunch of zombies attack them ??? They were really careful and not heard any noise of a zombie being near them. So the zombies must have noticed them coming out of the woods. One or three seeing them but 16 all at once in a few seconds ????
"you are right zombies probably go around in groups" renjun said after thinking about it
"but why did we met one alone in the woods ???" renjun spoke out the thing bucking his mind.
"Maybe they work like dogs ??? Dogs are social and often are in groups ,some dogs dont like each other and are rather loners, but  if they see a cat, they all go after it, ignoring their personal issues and work together. We are the cat in that case" yuri concluded.
"that would make sense we killed one of them so they all came after us for it" renjun said while nodding.
"We must test our theory it but it could cost our lifes. So lets observe"
Yuri said rather to herself than renjun.
"We are a great Team aren't we ???" Renjun said to the girl grinning like a foul.
"Yes we are indeed" the girl said while grinning back.
The two fist bumped, their smile never leaving their faces.
