chapter 26 the hint

With full speed Jaemin drove the jeep into the stadium

The arena was big really big. It looked like a football stadium. The ground was full off fresh green grass and around it were rows of clean seats. Overall it looked oddly modern and not run down thanks to the apocalypse. In the middle was a screen, which looked like the one they already saw when the eight of them git introduced to thr game. The screen showed a timer, probably how much time the eight have left. 7 Minutes. They arrived and had 7 minutes left. That means they succeded the mission.

The succeeded the Mission and that means they will get a hint of who is the liar among them

Why wasn't yuri Happy. ?????

She should be happy but instead she felt sad which makes her feel like she betraysthe group by not being happy and excited. She feels like she sinks slowly and painfully Into the seat of the jeep. Her chest feels so tight. Her heart tears apart and each piece shattered like glass. Her lungs felt like being filled with water making her unable to make a sound. Tongue tied.

The girl is smart. If she opens the jeep door and take a step forward recieving the hint, she knows it will break apart the friendship which they slowly built over the days, the trust they had. It made her so anxious, scared and sad.

Of course she wants to know the liar among them, the one, who has betrayed them since day one. But in this exact moment right now she questioned if her wish was worth the chaos, the upcoming storm which will come over them. She would rather want to have this friendship with the eight of them than wish she would have a more adventurous life, she would be happy with a boring Life (her biggest fear) cause her life won't be boring if she keeps having this friendship.

This realisation made her smile

But do the the other seven think the same :) ?

Rejection, not recieving the same back what you are giving,......etc horrible feelings and fears

Jaemin was determind and instantly stepping out of the car, each step controlled. After all he had to put up with he hoped this hint was worth it.

Renjun,donghyuck,mark, jisung with the help of chenle were getting off the jeep and staring on the screen

Yuri went out of her thoughts and stepped out too after jeno

Yuri gripped on her shirt scared of what will happen after knowing the hint.

Jeno was standing in the back waiting for the reaction of each of the seven of them after hearing the hint. Jeno was really loyal like a dog, people often compared him to one with smiles on their faces. He wanted to know who the liar was so bad.

And then the big screen in front of them lightend up. The same person with the black Hoodie and the weird mask showed up having a couple of papers in the hand. It looked like the Person was ready to start a presentation. And the weird voice started speaking, it sounded like someone was using the typical voice changer. It was all like the first time. A deja vu.

"Hello ;) we meet again, you succeeded again aren't you Happy????? And the mole failed. Ok ok i know you all want the hint but i Love the tension between you. Isn't it exciting ????? Scandalous ????? Ok here is the hint, listen closely, i don't repeat it :

sun setting, dragons arise and tears filled with regret

Thats the hint good luck for your next Mission :)"

The screen is now black again

"Thats a joke right ????" Mark spoke up

"I dont think so" donghyuck replied

Yuri felt numb and was silent repeating the hint over and over again in her mind to remember it

"And for that shit we have to Go through all of this ???? At this point we could just stay in the headquaters and randomly select one of us and say he/she is the liar and go on with our life" jaemin said annoyed

"Lets go through every word and come up with things that could be meant, it is probably a riddle" renjun said thinking hard

"What do you think, yuri ??? You were quiet the whole time " Jeno asked

"I think it isn't a riddle, the wording doesn't seem like that, it is probably so simple
And obvious that we wont get it the hint"

"Yeah i agree with yuri" said chenle

"Maybe the hint describes yesterday or any other day we spend in this game ???? Basically what happened that day like a timetable or something????" Explained jisung

"Jisungs version seems the most possible" said jeno

The sun began setting and the eight of them decided to drive back to the headquarters. Yuri was helping jisung getting into the house while the others were tiredly following the two. It was a tense atmosphere. All of them could see the change of behavior.

Yuri was lying in her bed still thinking about the hint. She was close to everyone in the group. She recalled all the memories she has had with each one of them and thought about the possible meanings of each metaphore hidden in the sentence,

thats when it hit her.

She knew who the liar is.

She chuckled at the realisation.

It was truly obvious all this time.

The eight of them sat on the ground discussing the hint. While the liar sat among them trying to make the others believe his/her version of the hint is the right one so that everyone will think it definetly not him/her.

Guys do you know who the liar is ???

Hi bitchachos ;) I am back
Honestly school stressed me mentally and physically a lot so my creativity and brain cells left me all and when i write this book i need to consider giving hints throughout the Chapter which aren't so obvious and Brainstorming some exciting Missions. I hope you like this Chapter
