Reasons and Excuses 🤥

(Sorry everyone for such a late update! I was fully busy with my placements and exams, hence didn't find time to update! So forgive me! 😁😁 But please enjoy the story! As you all know, I don't like drama much, hence I have kept to a minimum!)

There was pin drop silence in CN upon the revelation! Ashwini looked ready to faint, but Virat and Sai stood by her side. Virat looked angry, almost murderous! Samrat, Shivani and Mohit looked green, as if they were about to throw up. Sonali and Omkar were standing near Kaku, who had sunk to the ground! Karishma was just looking around, enjoying the drama and entertainment! 😑😑

Ninad couldn't control himself! All this while he had seen what all happened and couldn't stay quite. To abandon your own daughter is such a tough task!! For 25 years he had lied to everyone, even to himself! He had lied to Kaku that her daughter was stillborn! He had hid to Ashwini about his affair with kaku! No one knew about his and Kaku's past! He was tired of all the lies now! He wanted closure now!

As he opened his mouth to say more, a sharp sound resounded through the air! Ashwini had given a tight slap to Ninad! ✋

A: Mr. NINAD CHAVAN!! Shame on you! May the fleas of a thousand coffins infest your armpits!!! (Ummm.. This is my curse! 🙈) You had a child with your own sister in law!! And that too within just 2 years of our marriage!! And you have hidden it from me, from your son, from everyone for 25 years!! Yuck! 😡😫🤮

V: Baba, I didn't expect such behavior from you!! You have spoiled the meaning of a pure brother in law-sister in law relationship!! Moreover think of the child you abandoned! Who knows where she will be, how she will be??! This was absolutely disgusting baba!! 😒😡

Others too joined them in berating Ninad. Ninad couldn't bare to look at their faces, but he wanted to confess to everyone what had exactly happened.

N: I accept all your accusations and curses, but just once listen to me as to why this happened.
I knew Bhavani vahini from our college days. She was my senior by 1 year and was an amazing student! She would help many people in their projects! Once I was assigned to work with her on a project. We bonded well and I had started to fall in.... love with her! 😍 I even proposed to her after a few weeks, but Bhavani wasn't interested! She simply found me amusing. 🤣
But slowly she too started liking me. Later I joined army training and we used to exchange friendly letters to each other. But then I got badly injured and that's when she realized she was truly in love with me! We even planned to get married.
Me and Nagesh lived in the same room (*brothers*) and once my aai found Bhavani's photo in the room. She was very impressed! But mother thought Nagesh loved Bhavani and not me! When my parents took the proposal to Bhavani, even she thought it was from me! She accepted the proposal and even I didn't know the name of the girl Nagesh was to marry! (*Archaic marriage practices!!* 😒😒) Only after the grahpravesh we realized the truth! But Bhavani was faithful to Nagesh and even I was married off (*against my wish, without consulting me*) to Ashwini. But then a few years later Nagesh died! 😢 Bhavani was broken! She ran out of the house and I ran behind her to bring her back. But because of heavy rain we couldn't come back. So we stayed in a hotel, and that was when......... 😥😥
3 months later, we came to know that Bhavani was pregnant! We thought of aborting the child but Bhavani had some complications. Hence she went to Mumbai to hide from everyone! After the baby was born, I knew she would want to keep her daughter! I didn't want people to point fingers at us, so I left the baby in an orphanage! And I don't know where she is now!
But I swear, both me and Bhavani have remained loyal to our families ever since then! I looked after you well, Virat and Ashwini and I harboured no other feelings other than respect towards Bhavani "vahini"! I have put that incident in the past, Ashwini, believe me!!! 😓😓

A: Is this why you hate me vahini? Because I married the man who you wanted for yourself??!! 😡 And that's why you even supported Patralekha, who, in spite of being married to Samrat, was busy chasing Virat! Because, such a relationship according to you is not wrong! You felt this "devar-bhabhi" (brother in law-sister in law) relationship was correct, but not the husband-wife relationship! Yuck!!

Devyani stepped forward to her mother slowly. Kaku was just wordlessly staring into space, but hearing all the accusations thrown at her. As Devyani neared her, Kaku felt that at least she would understand!

D: Aai! I am ashamed of you! You took away my husband from me because you thought I had an illegitimate child from him, even though I was married to him! What about you aai?! What punishment would you suggest for yourself now? 😕😟

At these words, Kaku shattered fully!! She was tough on the outside, but a single reprimand from Devi was enough to crack her! She regretted everything, from the misunderstandings to the mistakes she had committed! But before she could say anything, a sharp voice rang through the hall!

Voice: She doesn't deserve any punishment, Devi tai! Don't you think she has suffered enough by listening to all your taunts and speeches?

Everyone turned towards the voice, shocked!😲

Yes, it was none other than Patralekha, who had come there to collect the divorce papers from Samrat and had heard everything by listening at the door! (*As Usual*) 🙄😒😒🙄

(Sorry guys! I have gray shaded Ninad and Kaku here, but don't worry, I will try to make Pakhi fully black, thanks to the disgusting scenes the makers are showing! 😒

You may feel I am dragging this story like rubber! But the problem, this story has many issues like misunderstood marriage, illegitimate relationship, illegitimate child, views of society etc. So I am trying to address some of these things! 😅
