Eyes opening at some time in the day, the tears on her cheeks already dried up with her spending the week of crying to sleep. Regret and guilt were eating her up. Her eyes were heavy with bags underneath, lips dry and energy getting lessened day by day. Sitting up on the bed, she stared at the room she was in, at this point she was used to the sight of the bland white walls, the smell and the atmosphere surrounding her. Suffocating.

Then her eyes landed on the flowers on her bedside. It looks new and she looked at them in wonder. Who had put this here? Hand hesitatingly hovered over the item, she then examined it close. In the bouquet, there was a note wedged in between the blooms. She then realized the type of flowers that she was holding... It was the same as the ones wilted from few weeks ago. Taking the note out, she flipped the card as she read the content and as she goes on, her heart writhes in pain and a little gratitude.

Dearest you,

You might be wondering right now what's up with an anonymous person sending a bouquet of flowers to you... Believe me, my intention is not to scare you or creep you out but I hope for it to bring happiness to you. I don't know exactly what made you happy, so I thought I could share you, my own way to be happy. Flowers made me happy in general. I found them as a really pretty organism and with various types of it exists out there was really interesting once you get to know each of their meanings- Okay, I'm rambling... Enough about flowers, I want to talk about you...

I heard about your situation when I came by and I don't know exactly what you went through and how you felt but I just want to let you know that you aren't a burden. You are cared. You are worthy. You are loved. You mattered.

I know, pasts always haunt us back and it isn't easy to let go. I know I'm not someone who even have the right to say this... But the best thing to do is live with it and accept for whatever had happened, that way you can live your life through it while focusing on improving yourself.

The flower that I gave you are daisies. They meant new beginning and hope. I don't want you to give up on improving yourself or even lose hope. If you happen to have such unnecessary thoughts, I hope for you to look at these flowers and think deeply with its meaning. I remembered this one saying, "You shouldn't linger in the darkness of your times... Instead, use the pain inflicted on you as your greatest victory."

I think it was a nice message to everyone.

Anyways, I really hope that this letter made you feel better and change your perspective of what you should do with your life. I hope to meet you one day, to tell you that you did a great job for holding on.

Much love, from dearest anonymous.

It was refreshing to see a nice person trying their best to make someone else happy. Keeping the note in hand, the words kept replaying in her head. New beginning and hope.

And as days passed, she kept receiving notes from the anonymous, with them giving her words of encouragement and sending lots of support to which she was thankful for. The dark and negative energy started to slowly disperse into the unknown as she smiled at her busted face in the mirror.

She was determined this time, she will try to improve herself better.

"You're doing great Ara!"

A smile adorned her already healing face, showing how bright her face has gotten after undergoing serious treatment with her situation. She felt happier with her life now, the monster and voices already long gone and she had moved on from the painful past. It was hard at first but after hearing words of encouragement from an anonymous sender, she was determined to get her life back on track, focusing onto her journey to improve her health and loving herself.
