You were waiting outside the hospital. You had something for Suna in your hands that might help him.
"(y/n)." You heard and look, seeing Suna walking up. You waved.
"Hey." You say. He waves back and walks in. You follow and they lead you both to the operating waiting room. People could wait by the doors of the room also, which Suna choice to do. You sat but he stood. You looked at the medium, flat box you had.
"Hey, Suna?" You asked. He looked at you. You held it out.
"Here." You say. He took it and sat, opening it.
"A journal?" He asked and took it out. You gave a nod.
"I know its lame, but when I was going thought all the stuff with my ex and no one to talk to, i wrote it all down in a journal." You say. He looks at you.
"I thought, since you didn't want to tell anyone, maybe writing it all down might help." You say and look at him. He smiled and looked at the journal.
"Thank you." He says but frowns and looks at the doors. You look also and lean back.
"It will be ok." You say. He nods.
"Suna, (Y/n)!" You both hear and look, seeing Rinko and Goda.
"What are you guys doing here?" Suna asked. Rinko hugged him.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked with tears and looked at him.
"How can i enjoy my birthday when my boyfriends best friends father is in surgery!" She said a bit loud.
"Rinko, voice." You say. She blushed and covered her mouth.
"Oh my goodness. i'm sorry." She said.
"She is right though. I told her and we came running over." Guda said. Suna had tears.
"T-Thank you. All of you." He said and wiped his eyes. Rinko took out a towel.
"Here." She said. He took it and wiped them. You stood so Gota and Suna could sit. Rinko was by Guda and you stood by Suna. The light went off and they stood as the doctor came out.
"How did it go?" You asked. He looked.
"Well, we repaired the valve and everything went good." He said. Suna let out a breath.
"Hes in the upstairs recovery room if you..you wish..." He started but running was heard and Suna's mother and sister came running over, yelling. You tried not to laugh as they made the doctor tell him everything.
"You all can go home. We will be with him." His mother said and ran with her daughter. You looked at Them.
"Lets all walk together." You say. They give a nod and you all walk. After a bit, Rinko and Goda wave as Goda walks Rinko home. Suna offered to walk you home, which you agreed to.
"Thank you for today." Suna said. You smiled at him.
"What are friends for? I'm glad your father is ok." You say. He gave a nod and looked at you.
"Can I make it up to you?" He asked. You looked at him.
"Make it up to me?" You asked. He gave a nod.
"Yeah. Can I treat you to a meal?" He asked. You put a finger to your chin.
"Well, ok, but not today. How about in a few days? My family is home but I told them i would be away today but be home for dinner." You say. He smiles and nods. You both wave as you get home and Suna blushes.
'Did I just ask her out?' He thinks as he walks home.
