Dancing magically

Chapter VIII -A bad guy's problem...

As the little group was walking, they heard Maleficent behind them.

-Wait!   she said,   Take this! It's a powder that will bring anything or anyone you find in your way back to it's place!

-What? I don't understand...   said Jessie.

-Just take it. It's precious. Who will keep it safe?

-I can, if everyone agrees.   said Roxane.

So Maleficent gave the little bottle to her.

The seven kids continued walking in the woods. They were going further and further. They were not looking back, they kept on going forward. They felt like cowboys in a western movie or like super heros in a cartoon.

Until suddenly, Sacha tripped over a branch and everyone started laughing.

-Shhh...!   said Milla.   Listen!

-Hey there!   said a voice behind them.   So firstly, you came in my forest. Secondly, you escaped from my jail - I don't know how but you did - , and thirdly, you came back in my forest.

The children were looking everywhere around them to find the person who was talking, but they couldn't see anyone.

-We are not afraid of you! Who ever you are!   shouted Sacha.   We are here to help the people who live in this place and we will! We'll get that dude back to help Aurora!

They heard a little laugh.

-You must be special... You care more about Aurora's life than your own?

Suddenly, Alisa shouted:

-Ouch! What's that? It hurts on my feet!

And she took her ballet shoes off to see. As soon as she took them off, a shadow passed and took them away from her.

-Hmm... The chosen ones I see...   said the voice.   So that's it. Oh, and what's that little bottle in your hand? Oh yeah, I forgot... Maleficent's magic powder isn't it?

-Who are you? And what do you want?   asked Jessie.

The shadow they saw was the ninja girl they had seen earlier on.
She came out of the shade.

-Take that scarf off your face if you are not scared of us!   shouted Milla.

They heard a little laugh again.

-Me? Scared of you? I don't think so... Actually, I'm not sure!

She burst out laughing.

-Well,   she continued,   I know that you are searching for that "dude". And to bring him back alive, you need to stop the winter. I also know that the only way to bring summer back is to chase me away from this place. To send me back into the dark places of this world, where WE bad guys, have to live altogether, playing bad tricks on each other. We apparently do not deserve to live with the "good" ones... But, to be honest, I do not care anymore...   she ended very softly.

The ninja made a pause and took her scarf off.

-I WILL STAY HERE!!!   she shouted.

Alina whispered into Roxane's ear:

-Throw the powder on her...

-Hehe... I heard that you know.   said the ninja girl.   But the only thing that you are forgetting, is that I have got your ballet shoes.   she pointed to Alisa.   And, without those shoes,   she looked at the shoes in a disgusted way,   you can't go back home. Never, ever, ever again... NEVER!!!

Everyone looked at Alisa. And Alisa looked at everyone.

-And what should we do then?   asked Kanun.   We are not going to fight you, are we?

-I don't want to fight you. I just want you to go home. And never come back again. But I know that you won't... It was too nice, when for 8 short, very short years, I could control the seasons. The "chosen ones" weren't in my way. The winter became stronger every year. But no. It obviously couldn't stay like that, right? You had to come in my plans and ruin everything! You ruin everything! Everything!   she pretended to cry.

The children looked at each other, a bit surprised.

The ninja girl suddenly laughed.

-But it won't be that easy. You won't just send me home like that... I must fight you... Even if you don't want to. I will kill every single one of you. Unless just killing one is enough, and the others will go home...

She put her hands to the sky. A huge storm started.
