Chapter IX -Getting rid of...

-Why is it always raining here? asked Kanun. Our ballet shoes are always wet!

-Anyway, it's snowing... So like... answered Sacha.

-I can make the winter even stronger! shouted the ninja.

-Wait a minute... When you think about it, it's weird that it's raining and snowing at the same time! said Sacha.

-Listen to me! said the ninja. Or you will be the first one to suffer!

-Haha! Yeah it's pretty weird! said Kanun, laughing.

-Will you listen to me?!

-Oh we don't care about what you are saying! shouted Sacha.

-Ok now, you listen to me. said Jessie. You can stay and live a happy life here, as long as you don't disturb the others. So stop that winter and just leave everyone alone and everything will be alr-...

-No way! said the ninja before Jessie could finish. I'm staying here and I won't stop the winter! I am going to get rid of all of you!!

She jumped off the tree and said:

-Ready to fight?

She made a lightning pass strait in front of them. It nearly hit Kanun, but she moved just in time.

It started to rain rocks and pieces of broken glass and other spiky stuff...

-Ahhh!!! shouted Jessie. It hurts!!

-You will all suffer!!! said the ninja girl.

They tried to run under a tree to be safe from the spiky rain at least, but while they were running, other plants started growing in their way... Alina tripped over one of them and made lots of holes in her tights. Alisa and Kanun, who saw her falling, tried to help her to get back up but giant birds came to annoy them. They finally got the birds away after a few minits, but the three of them had holes in their tights and leotards now.

Milla and Sacha were the first ones to arrive under a big tree that could protect them from the spiky rain. They thought that they were safe, but the tree started to grow some weird branches that tried to pick them up. They ran away and as they were running, they couldn't see anything because of the snow and the rain, and they bashed straight into Alisa and Roxane.

The children were now altogether again, but not safe at all.

A river of water appeared and wet them all.

-It's freezing!!! shouted Roxane.

During all that time, she was still holding the little bottle. She was keeping her hand closed very tight.

The ninja girl was walking slowly to them... She was smiling, she looked very satisfied. She said:

-So? Are you ready to go home now or do I really have to kill you?

No one answered. She continued:

-Look at yourselves! Holes in the tights, in the leotards, blood on your feet, messy hair, tired faces... You're also all wet! Your parents will be worried if they see you like that! They probably are already worried... You've been missing for more than 24 hours now...

She laughed.

-Now tell me, what should I do with you? I can't just leave you here, you would find a way to get back to the village... So now, you all go back home or I really am going to get rid of you!!!

-Never! they all shouted at the same time.

Roxane opened the little bottle of magic powder and emptied it on the ninja's head, who was now next to them.

-I didn't think you would be enough stupid... she took Alisa's shoes out of her pocket.

Sacha tried to grab them, but the ninja girl moved too fast. She was already starting to disappear and Alisa looked at Roxane. She looked half angry and half desperate...

They didn't know what to do. They were all trying to get the shoes but none of them could, the ninja was too fast and too skilful.

She was nearly transparent now, and the shoes were too!

The ninja just had time to laugh then disappeared.

They all looked at each other. They were worried about Alisa's shoes, but the ninja was gone.

-Oh Alisa! Look! suddenly said Alina.

-My shoes!

-Maleficent said that the powder would bring anything back to it's place... said Roxane. Their place is on your feet of course!

They all laughed.
