A Thief's Gold: Ardeth Bay x Reader [Discontinued]

ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ

Hello dear readers! It's nice to have a little update with you guys again. I promise I'm still alive, but life really likes to kick you into oblivion and that's been happening to me for the past *checks calender*... Since I was born!

But anyways, I'm slowly approaching my exams next year and I'll be free from college, baby! Thankfully, I'm really excited to hopefully get back to writing once it's all over. But during my break from writing, I've made a realisation that I don't want to continue all of my fanfictions anymore.

It's sad news but, I don't want to make chapters for something I've lost passion for, which you won't be able to enjoy because the words would be meaningless. I was passionate about the fandoms but now as I've grown up my likings have changed. And it happens! I just hope you'll all be able to find another good one or cherish what I've made so far.

That being said, here's a list of fanfictions I WILL be continuing:

And here is the list of fanfictions I WILL NOT be continuing (as of now):
- Imagines: General Hux x Reader
- The Acosmist: Beetlejuice x Reader
- UNAUTHORISED// Doom x Reader

Of course these are subject to change! I've been wanting to maybe start an Assassin's Creed fanfic, either for Connor or Altair x reader once I'm done with college.

I've realised I like to write stories that speak about a lot of moral code (honour etc), and ones that touch base on Islam and Islamic culture and South Asian culture (I'm Bengali), so those are themes I want to carry throughout my stories the most. I guess I'm more in line with creating fanfiction the South Asian/Islamic community who want to connect to these characters without compromising their religious or cultural heritage,which is really important for me because I find I struggle to read a lot of stories because they're more catered to the Western audience rather than to the Muslim and South Asian/Arab community, which I get to be honest but yknow, it can be saddening at times. So yes, I hope I can be more of a small little author to those who are in the same boat as me, but hopefully people from other backgrounds can enjoy the story. And as always, you can always change parts of the story to fit your culture and identity. Fanfiction will never be concrete, it's only a piece of paper for you to alter and change with your mind!

Besides that, I'm sorry if I've disappointed anyone on discontinuing any fanfictions they were into, I've just lost the passion for most of them and I'd rather not drag you guys along on a perilous journey.

I hope everyone is doing well and if not, I wish you the best and I hope you will heal. Take care of yourselves my little children, and I hope some of you at least can stick around in my journey and enjoy what I have to offer you guys over the years. And remember:
