It was an owl. A magnificent shining owl who had a letter in its beak. And the most sad thing was that the poor thing was hurt! It was bleeding profusely . As I was quite fond of anmals, I took the owl up gently and put it on my bed. It was terrified but I knew that it trusted me. Umm, maybe its not an 'IT' , it's a 'he'. Slowly I took out the letter from its beak and put it on the table, and ran off to fetch the first-aid kit. I was determined to cure the owl.

Half an hour later, after some taming and feeding and healing, the owl was back on its feet. As soon as he was cured, he flew out of the window in one swift motion. A pity!

It was only then that I remembered the letter. The letter was addressed to:-

"Ms. Eliza Jones

118 Park Avenue

The room on the second floor of the third house on the street"
