The Time I Fell Inlove Again

As we kept running we ran past a classroom that had its door open. I looked in it and for a split second, I saw Avia in the room all tied up.

I looked at Adam and said, "your sisters in that room."

"We can save her later."

"What if she gets hurt!"

"She won't, Kai is chasing us right now not her."

"But you would get hurt!"

"It doesn't matter, I will protect you at all costs."

I listened to what he said and ran even faster. As we ran I looked behind if he was there. There was no sight of him so I told Adam to slow down.

"Slow down. I can't see him anymore."

Adam looked behind and slowed down. We stopped to catch our breath but then Adam pulled my hand and found this room.

"Isn't this the room that the cleaners use?" I asked.

"Yes, but he won't look for us in here."

We entered the room and it was full of stuff and it was all messy. While I was complaining about the mess Adam just looked at me and smiled.

I realised he was looking at me and asked, "what?"

Adam held onto me and said, "don't worry my love."

I instantly froze and looked away. I slowly felt my cheeks heating up because of how nervous I was that he said that.

I think he noticed because he started chuckling and looked away. I started laughing with him. I looked back at him and he did the same and our laughter faded.

We stared into the eyes of each other and I felt the tension between us. We looked away awkwardly because of how long we've been staring at each other.

I looked around and looked at the wet floor. I felt like I was going to slip on it at any time. Adam noticed that so he slid his hands on my waist.

I looked at him but he quickly looked away.

Adam broke the silence and asked, "so what should we do now?"

"I don't know just stand here."

We quietly chuckled at each other.

"I think I know where we should go," said Adam.

"Where?"

"It's close to where we are."

"What if it's dangerous? Kai might be waiting outside of here."

"Maybe we should stay here for a few more minutes."

He agreed and then we stood there for a couple more minutes. Adam took his hands off my waist and slowly opened the door.

"I think it's clear."

Adam looked at me to reassure me that everything is going to be okay. He extended his hand out so that I can hold onto it. I grabbed onto his hand and we slowly headed out of the room.

We quietly ran towards the room that Adam was talking about. He then opened the door and we slowly entered the room.

I felt relieved that we are in a room that was not tight spaced compared to the cleaners room that we were in.

When I turned around I saw Adams sister. She was sitting alone curled up into a ball. She was crying uncontrollably.

I nudged Adam and he saw his little sister. Me and Adam went up to Avia and tried calming her down. I've never seen her like this before.

Adam hugged Avia. I went towards the door to lock it and I came back and sat down next to Avia.

It aches me how she's like this.
