Dixie: if you would just let me finish. I think I can prove that Noah is the rightful king. Just please let me help.
(Amelie snaps her fingers for the guards to let Dixie through and the 2 head to the Christmas tree where dixie grabs the handmade acorn)
Amelie: don't touch that. Don't!
(Dixie twists the top)
Amelie: what are you doing?
Dixie: hey.
(Dixie pulls the top off the acorn revealing a piece of paper, Amelie takes the paper out and starts to unroll it)
Amelie: oh, my.
~in the court~
Nessa: well, prime minister, looks like you have your quarum.
Princess Haley: I don't care what any of them say. You're my king and my brother.
Prince Noah: (smiles) thank you.
Prime minister: we must now bear witness to the coronation of King Tim's blood heir.
(Chase gets down on one knee in front of the prime minister)
Prime minister: count Chase presents his rightful claim to the crown and throne.
(The crowd shakes their heads and groan)
Prime minister: do you pledge your life and fealty to Aldovia and all her subjects?
Chase: I do!
(The prime minister lays the sceptre in Chase's arm)
Prime minister: do you swear to protect her, to uphold her sacred laws in times of wealth or poverty, peace or war?
Chase: I do.
Prime minister: (looks at the court room) if anyone would wish to dispute Count Chase's claim to the throne, May they speak now, or forever stay silent...
(The prime minister takes the crown and hovers it over Chase's head)
Prime minister: then I proclaim you-
Dixie: Stop!
(Dixie makes her way down the stairs to the bottom floor of the court room and Chase stands up)
Chase: have her removed immediately!
Queen Amy: (looks away from Dixie and at chase) you're not king yet.
(Dixie continues to make her way down the stairs with Amelie behind her)
Queen Amy: if you have something to say Miss D'Amelio, say it now.
Dixie: (goes over to the queen) your majesty, before he died, the king amended the law to allow prince Noah to become his lawful successor.
Queen Amy: what? How-
Nessa: she's lying, just like she did before.
Princess Haley: the queen is speaking, so zip it.
Queen Amy: let me see that.
(Amy takes the paper from Dixie)
Dixie: it was inside the acorn, the gift your husband meant to give you last Christmas before he died.
(Amy turns to Noah and smiles)
Queen Amy: read the decree.
Prince Noah: (takes the paper and starts to read) "let us be bound in future by truth, and truth alone. Let us light up the shadows of the past. Though my blood may not run in his veins, Noah, Prince of Aldovia, is my son. And while this order gives him lawful right to my throne, it is by his own attributes, his spirit, his sensitivity, intelligence, and heart that he earns this honour."
