In the very last episode of "Gilmore Girls, A Year in the life", Rory told her mom about being pregnant.
Rory: Mom, I am pregnant!
Lorelai: What? I'm going to be a grandma? I am too young to be called grandma! Ok, anyway, whos the guy?
Rory: Logan Huntzburger, a guy I met at Yale.
Lorelai: Can I tell everyone?
Rory: MOM! Ok, whatever, fine.
(At Friday night dinner with Lorelai's parents, Emily and Richard)
Suzanne(the maid): Welcome, may I take your coats?
Lorelai and Rory in unison: Yes, thanks.
(Lorelai and Rory got drinks from the drink cart in the living room)
Emily: Oh, here so soon?
Richard: Oh, hello there.
Lorelai: Mom, Dad, Rory is PREGNANT. The guy is Logan Huntzburger, from Yale.
Emily: AHH! Well isn't this amazing! I'm going to be Great Grandmother Emily Gilmore!
Richard: Logan? Well, I'm glad you got pregnant with a sensible fellow. Congratulations, Rory!
Emily: If it is a boy name him Max.
