I felt warm, I felt calm, I felt safe. I didn’t know where I was. My eyes started opening and I looked to be in a bedroom. I had a black satin sheet over me and goodness was it warm.

The room was an old Victorian style home.

I started to get up out of bed and look around. I heard someone playing the violin and so I followed the music out of the room. I walked into a drawing room and In the center was the man playing the violin.

He was very good at playing the violin and he was very handsome. I sighed in contentment and he stopped playing. He looked at me and smiled.

“I am glad to see you have woken up.” He said the silkiest voice I ever heard.

“Where am I, if I might ask?” I asked timidly.

“No need to be frightened dear. You are currently on the outskirts of Tira’s walls.” He said.

“Who are you?” As I said this he chuckled.

“Yes, I guess introductions are in order. My name is Cyrillius Fauston. And you are my dear?” He said in such a way that it seemed as though he already knew, but wanted me to say it.

“My name is Amy Nokola, Mr. Fauston.” I said with as much confidence as I could muster.

He smirked at me and said, “No need for formality Miss Nokola. You may just call me Cyrillius.”

I just looked at him like a calf staring at a new gate. He was very mysterious and reminded me of the voice from my dreams. Maybe he is. I will just have to wait and figure out that in time.
