Prologue

He, Michael Gordon Clifford, had to go. He got a scholarship in New York. He had to accept it because it was his dream to study there.

She, Olivia Jenna Anderson, on the other hand, had tried so hard to accept the fact that Michael would leave him.

"Please, Mike. Can you stay for a little while?" She cried. She couldn't hold the tears from escaping.
"I would if I could, Olivia. I'm so sorry. I love you so much and you know that right." He held her cheeks. "But I gotta go. This is my dream. I've asked you to come with me but you parents didn't let you. I.. I know this is so unfair. And my explanation will only mean nothing when I go. But.. you know, I can't let my dream go just like that.." And he tried his best to hold his tears. He couldn't cry in front of her. It would only make things worse.

"I.. will always love you. No matter where you are. Just don't ever forget me, Michael." She gave him one last kiss before he left. "I will miss you my love." He left.
