April 3rd, 2016

Prom. The day I would cry the most.

James was forcing me to go, although without Thomas I didn't want to.

I walked into the gym and found it fully decorated. Different colours of flowers all around the walls and floor, baby blue and lavender balloons surrounding the corners, and a giant flower bouquet sat in the middle of the gym.

I walked over to Cola.

"Hey, cute dress," She motioned to my red gown.

"You too," Her dress was a formal hot pink that reached her toes. She was wearing heels to try and gain height but the dress was still a bit long. "Where's your date?"

"Ryder's grabbing punch," She shrugged.

"He asked you?" I questioned.

"He did and I said yes. Nat's here with some dude name Liam," Cola replied.

"Oh, that's nice," I softly smiled.

"I know you miss him. It's written all over your face," She smiled back.

"I do. And I haven't even talked to him since he left," I sighed.

"Here you go, babe," Ryder handed her a glass of punch. I smiled at him and walked away, heading towards the stalls. I stood in the corner of the gym, sipping my punch and staring at people dancing.

Sooner, I left, headed home. When I got there, James had left to go to a restaurant. I sat in my dress, staring at myself in the mirror.

I got up again, heading to the kitchen. I grabbed the first bottle I could find, which turned out to be scotch. I began chugging the bottle down, thinking about a memory of me and Thomas drinking as I chugged.

After the bottle was done, I grabbed my phone, dialing the first number that came to mind.

"Liv?" That voice. Oh, the voice that could bring me to my knees. The voice that makes everything feel better.

"Hey," Yup. I'm drunk. And I'm calling my ex.

"Hey, what's up? Anything you need?" He asked.

"Just wanted to talk to you. I miss you," I'm saying shit, aren't I?

"I miss you too, and hey-" He got cut off by a girl's voice.

"Thomas! Come back to bed!" She squealed. That's what brings me back to reality.

My finger hovers over the 'End Call' button.

"Liv, I've-" I cut him off by hanging up. I threw my phone at the wall

He moved on so fucking quick and I'm still here crying over him.

Somehow, I fell asleep on the couch in my dress. When I woke up, I found a message on my phone from Thomas.

Thomas

Thomas: It wasn't what you think [9:04 P.M.]

Thomas: It was just Lizette staying with me for the week [9:05 P.M.]

Thomas: I swear [9:05 P.M.]

Thomas: Are you that mad that you won't respond? I'm really sorry, I am [9:06 P.M.]

Olivia: I get it [7:52 A.M.]
