Squid game (saebyeok x OC)

Kazuya POV

"Players, welcome to the second game. We will begin shortly." 

I turned to sae, she had her game face on I talked in a low tone. "What do you think?"

"Players before the second game begins chose a shape and stand in front of it"

"I'm going to follow him" She motioning towards the guy that talked to her.

"I'll go to the circle," she looked at me then looked back at the guy. "Be careful okay?"

"Okay, you too"

I smiled and nodded then went to stand in front of the circle, I saw sae following the guy to the triangle. "The time to select your shape has ended. I will now explain the rules of the next game"

The doors opened, "All players please take one case each from the table at the front of your line"

It kept on repeating the rule. I got mine then opened it, it was a circle. "The second game is sugar honeycombs. The shape that you have chosen is the shape that you have to remove from the honeycomb. The limit is ten minutes."

As soon as the time started I started scraping the shape out, the woman beside me pulled out her lighter and used it to melt it. I have a lighter too so I sat beside her and used my own many people finished including sae when the woman got up she should him the star and ate it in front of him, then she threw her lighter to the ugly guy.

When I was done I showed him my circle and left.

They took us back to the room sae was siting on the stairs she had serious face on but when she saw me she lightened up a bit. I went and sat beside her, "that was fun"

She looked at me then grabbed my hand intertwining them, "Ohh my baby sae is getting comfortable with me"

"Attention, players."

"just be quite and listen" she said not looking at me once.

"I will now announce the results of the second game." The screen display of the number of players decreased. 

"Out of the 187 who participated 79 players were eliminated." Money started filling up the pig, "The prize money accumulated this round is 7.9 billion won. The total prize so far is now 34.8 billion won"

The red minions entered with food, sae was the open who got up first when she did she pulled me so we could go together. 

"I want to sleep," I mumbled. We stood in line waiting for our turn, they gave us one egg and a soda. I eat everything quickly before we reached the bed so I could lay down, sae was just looking at me and a small smile on her face.

Once we got there I laid down and scooted over for sae to sit, I closed my eyes and placed my hands behind my head. 

I felt sae grabbing my hand so I opened my eyes and saw her looking at the center she looked scared. I sat up and saw two people fighting more like one beating the other to death literally.

"Hey it's fine he can't touch you, I'm here." I said tugging at her hand so she can look at me, I think what horrified her more was the fact that none of the guards did anything they just stood there.

Old man went to the dude and started shouting that he was dead and went to the guards telling them to do something, then the doors opened and guards came in holding a box with a ribbon on it. 

They opened it and placed the body in it when they did it the number on the screen went down a number and money was added to the pig.

'Shit this doesn't look good, he'll come for her'

I got down from the bed and walked to the walls. I have to think, 'if I go back will he protect her' 'should we join a team' 'or we could just hide' 'I fucked up'

I saw old man talking to sae I was thankful that he looked out for her.

I saw the ugly dude looking at me, I held my gaze and walked to him.

"I'm assuming I'll be the first one ?"

He laughed then threw a punch but I dodged it and said, "Are you that eager to kill me"

I smirked, then a doctor came to join them and I left them.

There was four minutes till blackout I honestly was looking forward to sleeping today.

"Hey if something goes wrong I need you to go to old man they got a good team"

She looked at me then said, "old man?"

Then I pointed at the old man, "do you give everyone a nickname ?"

"Of course I do it's a hobby," she hummed then looked at the clock. One minute left

When they lights turned off they didn't waste one second they started by pushing the beds, three people came at me and I saw him he was there hitting her.

I kicked the man standing in front of me then twisted my self and punched the man behind me there was one man left I ran to him and kicked him directly on his head. 

I went to where I saw sae last but she wasn't there I looked around desperate to find her then I did there she was cornered. 

He was about to attack her with her knife but I jumped at him and shouted at sae, "GO TO OLD MAN" She nodded her head then ran off.

I smirked when I saw his angry face, "come at me bitch" 

He attacked but I managed to dodge a few of his attacks but I also placed a fair share of hits on him. Then he stabbed me, "not so tough now are you huh?"

He took out the knife and was about to stab me again but I kicked him away opening the wound. I placed my hand on top of it, "you'll bleed to death alone"

He then went away from me, "Guys stop this, I'm I- I'm scared" I looked up and saw grandpa screaming. 

The lights soon turned on, I felt light-headed. 

I stood up I had to go look for her and make sure that she's ok, a smile automatically appeared on my face when I saw here she was safe I wanted to go hug her I wanted her to feel safe in my arms again but I felt something hard hit me on the back of the head and everything went black.
