Denali's POV:
"I literally cannot thank you for the snacks today Denali." Rosé said as she applied her blush.
"It's really not a problem! I figured you guys would want something rather than dry cookies and tap water." I replied.
I looked through my makeup bag and realised I was missing my red lipstick.
"Shit. I forgot I finished my red lipstick." I said.
"You can borrow mine." Said Rosé as she handed me her lipstick.
It was deep red and smelt like cherries.
"This shade looks really familiar. Maybe I've owned it before." I said as I closely examined the lipstick.
Rosé's eyes widened and she started to look really nervous.
"Are you okay Rosé?" I asked before applying the lipstick.
"Y-yeah!" She stammered before she went back to applying her makeup.
Something was off. Rosé was definitely hiding something from me. But why would she? I couldn't help but be curious. I smirked and snaked my arms around her waist.
"What aren't you telling me Rosie?~"
"Nali..." She breathed.
"You can tell me anything Rosé. What have you go to lose?" I asked as I held her tighter.
"You."
I let go of her and looked at Rosé confused.
"After you and Mik broke up, I just- I- the thing is- I don't want things to change. All I can really say is I just really like you Denali and I'd rather have you figure it out than I telling you."
"If you're not comfortable telling me now Rosé, I'll wait." I replied smiling.
"We should head off to dinner." Said Rosé as she held my hand.
We walked out of Rosé's apartment and we walked to the elevator. Suddenly Rosé stop me before I could press the button.
"Wait- let's take the stairs..." Rosé said as she dragged me to the staircase.
"Rosé? What the-"
Rosé continued to walk down the stairs but I let go of her hand. "Rosé seriously what is going on?!"
She turned and her eyes were full of tears. She looked shaken up and extremely scared.
"Rosie..."
"I can't go in an elevator without freaking out, Nali."
"Is that why you always use the stairs? What happened?" I asked.
"N-no I'm not scared of elevators in general but something happened in there and I just- I don't know..."
We sat on the steps and I placed an arm around her shoulders.
"Rosé, please tell me. Whatever is bothering seems to really be affecting you. What's wrong?"
Rosé took a deep breath.
"I can't believe I'm actually saying this out loud...Remember the night we were meant to have dinner with Jan and Lagoona?"
"Yeah?"
"You picked me up and went into the elevator. We laughed for a bit until the the elevator broke down."
"We did?"
"That's not the end... you had a bottle of tequila and the elevator couldn't have been fixed for another 4 hours."
"Is that why I had lipstick all over that bottle I found?"
"Yeah, we ended up getting pretty drunk. Then we..."
She trailed off and blushed.
"We?..."
"Hooked up..."
I jumped up and gasped.
"We WHAT?!" I exclaimed. Rosé started to tear up. "Why didn't you tell before? When did you find out?" I asked as I sat back down.
"After you cried about not knowing who you cheated on Mik with, I went to my bathroom and found hickies and lipstick all over my neck and chest. I didn't want to freak you out." Replied Rosé timidly.
Rosé's POV:
Denali held my hand and turned to me.
"Well, I'm glad you told me Rosie."
"You are?"
She pulled me towards her and she kissed me.
Her lips were soft and tasted like cherries. Our breaths mixed as we deepened the kiss.
I pulled back and I smiled.
"We should probably get to dinner now." I said as I stood up.
"Fine~" replied Denali.
We walked down the stairs and made our way to the restaurant.
