A.N- Because I can't fix how bad this writing is, I think I've lost interest in this story. I'm not close to finishing the book but it's so bad that everytime I try to edit, I want to just delete this story altogether. I appreciate all the support but damn- this story is so shit 🤡
Denali's POV:
I nodded as I quickly dropped my bag on the bed before sitting down. My palms were slightly sweaty from my nerves and Rosé slowly closed the door.
"So... why did you want to talk?" I stammered.
Rosé stood in front of me and folded her arms
"I'm just going to go straight to the point." She replied. I gulped as Rosé's expression got less and less readable. "What are we?"
I sighed with relief and then thought.
"I- I'm confused Rosé..." I admitted. Rosé's eyes darkened and she nodded in response. "I just feel so happy with you and I enjoy every moment we have. I don't know what we are but all I know is that I am so grateful that I get to spend all of this time with you." I said.
"But you don't love me the way I love you." My eyes widened as Rosé's steady tears fell from her eyes. She turned and silently laughed. "You're silent. I-it's true isn't it?" Said Rosé as she faced me once more. I stood up and held her hands.
"Rosé of course I-" I paused and Rosé immediately snaked her hands out of mine. "That's what I thought..." Rosé stormed off and shut the door with a loud bang.
Rosé's POV:
I slammed the door shut and heard Denali cry. I heard her sobs and cries. My heart told me to stop but I had to let her go. I walked up to the reception and got a seperate room for Denali to stay in for the rest of the week.
I spent the next few hours wondering around the hotel and groaning every time I saw a couple together. How would they know if they truly loved each other? How could they be so sure?
I spotted Lagoona who was sipping a drink at one of the hotel's bars.
"Drinking the day before a show I see?" I said as I approached Lagoona.
"Oh- h-hey Rosé!" Lagoona stammered.
"What's wrong with you?" I laughed. I looked at the table and realised Lagoona had another drink with her. "Oh- why do you have another drink?"
I turned and a girl with dark brown hair was smiling.
"That's uh- my drink." She replied. "My name is Dalila." The girl said as she held her hand out to shake mine.
"Well seems like you two are having some alone time, I'll let you get back to it." I said as I winked at Lagoona who was blushing like crazy.
I walked back to my room and I heard silent sound of zippers and even louder sobs.
I took my keycard and opened the door. Denali was crying as she was packing her suitcases. As soon as she heard me enter the room, she quickly stood up and wiped her tears away, silently hiccuping as she held back her cries.
"Hey..." I said as I slowly walked up to Denali.
She frowned for a while before looking down to the floor. Denali dragged her suitcases with her until she reached the door.
I passed her the keycard to her new room and she looked into my eyes.
"Before I head off, can I say something?" Denali asked. I nodded and Denali sighed.
"I can't say it. I can't say 'l-o-v-e'. Because I'm terrified. The last time I fell for someone, I thought we were meant for each other. Mik and I drifted apart and my feelings faded away. I have the same feelings I had when I am with you. I'm so scared that I will make the same mistake again. I don't want to. I don't want to get hurt again and most importantly, I don't want you to get hurt. I care so much about you, but I need to figure my shit out. I don't know who I am anymore..."
Denali opened the door and took her suitcases along with her. "I'll see you on stage..." Denali shut the door on her way out.
