Episode 12🌼-Shattered💔

Sam's POV:

I wanted to tell everything to Siv what had happend in my life. I always expected her to ask me about my past, but she chose to remain silent. The distance between us didn't give  the space maybe. But now, I want her to know about everything. As we finished our lunch and get back to hall. I grabbed her hand.

I was ready to open up my past. I know only she can handle me and soothe my pain. I know it is so painful for me to disclose but, she has the right to know, so it is must. I took a deep breathe and started to tell my story.

2 years back,
Sam's flashback,

I completed my post graduation in Loyola College. One fine day we all friends planned to party together, later we decided to make a road trip for next two days as a farewell trip of us. That night we all gathered at pub and celebrated our farewell party. We were 5 friends Roze, Pradeep, Deepan , Catherine and myself. Then Cathy , who is my bestie from college days, she always stick to me nevertheless the situation. I like her very much she is my best friend and close to my heart always. She always make others laugh with her humours. The place she stays filled with happiness and positivity that's her speciality. Such a sweet soul, she was the one who, tried to cheer up me after my mom demise. I always proud to be her best friend. We all enjoyed whole night by partying and went to our respective apartments. Almost all were drunk except Cathy. I didn't drink much as I know I was responsible for bring them all back to their room safely. Deepan and Roze planned to stay together at Pradeep apartments.So, I offered to drop Cathy next at her apartment .
We reached Cathy's apartment, but there was no sign of her to get down. I was half sleepy as well alcohol started its effect on me. I looked at her and puzzled, her gaze were fixed on me, she gestured me to get down. She moved past me and looked at me.
I walked near her and asked, "What ?" She whispered something "........" and smiled shyly. I was stunned with her reply, I never thought like this about her. Wait... wait... am l imagining anything?? Did I hear it properly??
But she looked super cool and her smile widened.

"Sam I know you must be in shock but I want to tell this.I was expecting for a right chance and a moment. We will be returning shortly so,l don't want to prolong it, let me make it clear. Yes Sam", she took a breathe..." "I love you.. Sam.. I love you so much" She continued to say, "I never knew when it started, but I knew I was falling for you gradually and l'm in love with you from the day I known you and your music, each and every moment of my life I want to spend with you". She confessed everything with a twinkle in her eyes. After a moment she looked at me questioningly, I know she waited for my reply but I was speechless as well as confused.Little I know was she never behaved like an any ordinary girl, that's her speciality that was the one thing I admired her, otherwise couldn't be best friends for more than a 2 years.

I asked her , " Are u joking? Cathy... are you upto any pranks??",  she was taken back I saw a hurt in her eyes with confused look.

Straight away she said "I crack jokes, I do pranks, I make others laugh but l'm serious about my love with you, I'm also a normal girl after all with common feelings, so don't take my love lightly. Think and tell me before we leave , I will be waiting for your positive reply", she wiped her tears and walked away with larger steps, I was standing there like a statue.

So the next day, on the way everyone were busy in talking and enjoying the travel, except two souls. One was Cathy next one was obvious it's me, I saw a tension in her eyes, I never want my friend to be like that but I didn't get a chance to talk with her personally. I planned in my mind to talk with her once we park the car somewhere. Pradeep noticed the difference between us.  But I didn't utter a word to him. I made up my mind to talk to her once we reach the restaurant.
