Here's what's frustrating

I was messed up. I wasn't paying attention to any of my lectures, I was frustratingly chewing the back of my pencil and I just couldn't concentrate at all. I broke my fifth pencil in half, cause I hated myself for being so distracted.

Like any other person, you would normally say I couldn't stop thinking about Leo, or that Leo was on my mind all day long. But no. No. Once again, I'll state that, that doesn't really happen in real life. I'm not going to fib and say I don't like Leo. I do, I have a massive crush on him. Putting that aside, I wish it was because I was thinking about Leo.

It was Renold. Remember that guy I mentioned the other day? The blond, and really hot guy that for some reason wants to get it on with me. He won't leave me alone! I'll give you an idea about how I felt all through the day. I've had five lectures today, and unfortunately he had been in all of them. Sitting next to me. Whispering, what's supposed to be, cheesy pick up lines. He had his hair in a tiny ponytail, thinking that it'll impress me.

I was inwardly vomiting. He was trying too hard, and his ego was on the roof.
He was a complete turn-off and he doesn't want to accept the fact that I'll never see him as the one for me.
Let's fast forward to now.
Now, he was staring at me as we both sat on my living room couch. Did I mention that Renold's mom is best friends with my mom? Which gives him the privilege of dropping by my house anytime he wants to.

"Len?" He said, placing his head on my lap.
"What" I muttered, too lazy to kick him off.
"Date me" he said, changing the channels of our TV. I rolled my eyes and mustered the energy to kick him off. He fell off the couch with a loud thud and let out a yelp.
I chuckled and went back to browsing. "Sometimes I don't understand why you're trying so hard" I said, checking if any volumes of my favourite comic were out. I didn't need to make myself clear since he already knew what I was talking about. He didn't bother getting off the floor, and sprawled himself.

"Your exciting, beautiful, funny and amazingly sarcastic. Your totally my type" Renold said, now sitting properly. So, what. He made my cheeks tint, doesn't matter.
I sighed, and put my phone down.
"Ren, listen-" I paused, noticing how his face suddenly lighted up. "Are you okay?" I said, getting slightly creeped out by his smile.
"You called me Ren!" He chirped, getting up.
"Calm-" he grabbed my hand, and dragged me off the couch. "Come with me" he said, passing by the kitchen. "Renold! Hello!" My mom said, sticking her head out of the kitchen. He stopped in his tracks and turned around to greet my mother.

"Mrs Golding! How are you doing? Don't mind me, just taking a trip to Len's room" he said, flashing his perfect smile. My moms expression dropped and looked between me and him. Knowing my mom, there's no chance in help. She grinned a wide grin and winked at me. "Have fun" she said, going back into the kitchen. I cringed in disgust, knowing what she thought of. But it would never happen, I know Renold, he's too kind to have anything up his sleeves. That's why I wasn't really resisting at all.

He didn't let go of my hand through out the short journey to my room. Closing the door, and turning the lights on. I went straight for my laptop, not bothering to start a conversation.
"Lena, do you really hate me?" He said, in a soft tone. I hated it when he did this, I felt tons of guilt weighing on my heart.
"Ren, I don't hate you. But you don't want to accept that I refuse to go out with you. We'd be the greatest friends if you tried." I said, looking at him, giving him a genuine smile.

"Ok, fine. I'll-" the sound a call going through, startled both of us. Ruining the only serious conversation we've ever had. He ran over to me and sat next to me. Crap.
Leo was calling and Renold was sitting next to me. Please tell me it's not true.

"Who's Leo?" He said, with a tilt of his head. I noticed that there was no way out of this. "Renold, I need you to stay quiet for a little bit. Can you do that for me?" I quickly said, the call going through its fourth ring. He slowly nodded his head, still confused. I hit the accept button. Leo's face now visible.

"Dearest Lena! I've missed you" he said, once again never failing to make me blush. "Hey Leo" I smiled, with a small wave. I quickly dropped my dreamy smile, once I remembered Renold was still here.
"Leo, this is Renold. Renold, this is Leo." I said, trying to keep cool. I imagined it all, the glaring, the constant fighting. I had all those horrible ideas of what they would do.

"Hi there" Renold said, with a small wave.
"Hullo" Leo replied, raising his hand to return the gesture.

What? What just happened? Why aren't they fighting or something of that sort. I watched as they engaged into a normal conversation.
Mind = blown. But then again, it actually doesn't make sense for them to start fighting out of the blue. Why in the world was I expecting them to fight? Sometimes, I get so disappointed of my own thinking.

"Earth to Lena" Leo said, taking me out of my trance. I blinked a couple of times and sheepishly grinned. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders and i tensed up. I glanced at Renold, who seemed to have a forced smile on. I faced the camera and cleared my throat, noticing the awkward silence. I noticed Leo's gaze flickering to our sudden intimacy. I would've loved to kick Renold off me, but after what he asked me? I don't hate him and I have an idea to what heartbreaks feel like. And I definitely don't want Renold to go through it.

"Leo~" a voice sang, from behind the camera. Leo looked up and sighed. A dark haired guy, showed up next to Leo. He stared at me for a while, and something about his eyes did not please me at all. After a minute passed by, he settled next Leo.

"Leo, can you give us a few minutes? I want to have a little chat with Lena here" Said the dark haired man, receiving a confused look from Leo. He hesitated and got up.
"Ok" Leo said, leaving the door. "You too, blondie" he said, Probably offending Renold. "He has a name" I said in his defence. I glanced at Renold, silently asking him to leave. Renold gave me a small smile and glared at whoever the guy was before taking his leave.

Now it was officially me and him. I was pretty confused too. I don't even know him yet he's claiming that he wants to privately talk with me.
"Hello Lena. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. properly. I'm Zack" he said, with a tiny smile. "Leo's best friend" he said, dragging out the 'best'.
I slowly started to nod and fiddle with the sleeves of my shirt.
"How old are you, again?"
"20" I said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. It was the way he was asking me questions. It's like I'm being interrogated for a crime.

Zack slightly laughed and shook his head, he looked at me and leaned on his hand.
"Liar"
I felt like a bucket of ice water was dumped onto me. I paled and looked for a possible answer. My mouth opened and shut, I didn't know what to say.
"Pardon?"
