The Visit

Chapter 1

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" I yelled as I fell. After a little while, I landed with a thud.

"Ow!!" I groaned as I looked around, and noticed the place was illuminated with bulbs, then out of the corner of my eye, I spotted Hayden.

I whisper-shouted, "Hayden!!", then he turned and a look of relief washed over his face. He ran over and hugged me.

"Thank goodness you're here" he said as he released me from the hug then a fearful expression appeared on his face.

"Hayd, what's going on?" I asked concerned. He looked around then told me "Follow me quietly, I need to show you or you won't believe me" I nodded slowly then followed him.

He led me through tunnels that were all illuminated with bulbs. "What's all this doing here?" I whispered to him but he covered my mouth, pushed me towards the wall.

I tried yelling but it got muffled. He shushed me then I suddenly heard beeping. He finally let go of me and grabbed a long piece of metal from the ground then a robot, like the type you'd see in Star Wars, come out of the tunnel.

Hayden hit it with the metal, and as it spun due to impact, he used the opportunity to pierce the metal through it, and it fell, broken, on the floor. I was shocked, Hayden was not the fighting type.

I just stood there by the wall, watching him pant. "We need to hurry, they seem to be more than I thought" he said, turning to me. I nodded, still in shock.

We continued our journey through the tunnels. As we entered another tunnel, I was shocked by the sight I saw. I saw a giant futuristic space ship that looked out of this world. We went closer and I was able to make out the blue and silver details. I saw the cockpit, what looked like laser shooters; power boosters, and a door. It was amazing.

Then Hayden said, "This is what I was talking about! An alien space ship! Can you believe this?! Comics weren't lying!" I smiled, thinking 'Hayden's back' then focused back on the ship.

" How did you find this in the first place?" I asked him.

"Well, funny you should ask. So, I came over to Jake's place to hang out, then as I was on my way there, I passed a bush and I suddenly fell into the hole that brought us here. I was confused but excited about falling into a strange entrance, so I decided to explore the cave and I came across this beauty" He explained, gesturing the ship.

"Wait. So, you just decided to explore creepy tunnels?" I asked, folding my arms.

"Those robots were coming after me! What did you expect me to do?! Sit around to be eaten by whatever they serve?!" He defended. I just shrugged. Then, we suddenly heard the ship door start to open.

It took a split second for Hayden and I to look at each other and run behind some large rocks.
