November 28, 1804
Thunder echoed throughout the small cottage, startling about everyone who had been staying there.. well, mostly everyone, that is.

On the early morning hours of November 28, 1804, the French revolutionaries would be banging at the door of anyone who was staying in the Kingdom of France, even those who lived near the border of France. Upon Violet & Carolina hearing the news, they had to flee the border of France, no matter who long it would take — both life's were at stake, and they're possibly risking the life's of the motels' owners, as well.

"Violet, we need to abscond.." Carolina spoke softly, hoping no one would hear their conversation.

"I'm afraid it'll rain soon. Won't we get waterlogged..? Or worse, lighting would strike us," Violet sighed. "I'm aware of your need for safety, Madam Carolina, but thunderstorms scare the daylight out of me.. may you hold the reins to the horses this time?" as much as Violet wanted safety for Carolina, she was afraid, if she would hold the reins to the horses, she'd accidentally let them go due to her tremendous fear of being outside during a thunderstorm.

"By all means," Carolina replied. "If we want to depart quick enough, and shun the revolutionaries, I may hold them. Though, I'm not well at it."

"l'll instruct you," Violet said.

"You're doing quite well for someone who hasn't held onto horse reins

"You're doing quite well for someone who hasn't held onto horse reins." Violet said while looking out the carriages' small windows, spotting three llamas drinking water out of a trough.

"It's much obliged that you say that. I myself don't see that I'm doing as well as you." Carolina replied. She kept her eyes on the horses, dirt path, and most of all, the reins. She was afraid that she'd let them go somehow, even though she had been watching the path and reins the whole time. She mostly felt this way since it was raining and mist was starting to form.

"I promise you, you're doing great," Violet responded. "Trust me, if you weren't.. the horses would be gone by now.."

"When do you think we'll arrive at Norway?" Carolina asked Violet.

Violet took out a small map that contained half of Europe — which would be Germany, France, Norway & Belgium. "Shortly," Violet replied. "Presumably undern."

Carolina slowly nodded her head, still keeping her eyes on the path. Carolina indeed might've seemed calm, but on the inside, she was more than fearful. Perhaps it might've been intimidate revolutionaries that may be on their trail.. or her arrival — she didn't even know.

The sound of horses galloping echoed behind the small wagon, startling Carolina

The sound of horses galloping echoed behind the small wagon, startling Carolina. Who would possibly be riding their horses on such a day like this? "Who may that be?" Carolina asked Violet.

Before Violet could respond, the voice of a young man, presumably around the age of twenty-three, echoed from behind them. "Hello! Hopefully I'm not affrighting you, whoever you may be," the person began. "I know we just met.. but have you happened to see the Norwegian queen, Carolina Crowháwk?"

Carolina almost jolted out of her seat upon hearing him say her name.

He was one of the revolutionaries who were out to find her!
