As Natsu and Happy are heading towards to the restaurant, Lucy and Sting on the other hand had already been there, they were getting to know each other while waiting for their order, Sting said sorry again for everything that he and the whole Sabertooth had done to Lucy and to the other member of Fairy Tail before at Grand Magic Festival, Lucy gladly accepted the apologies and give Sting a big and warm smile. Shock for the quick forgiveness, Sting was silent for a moment while looking to Lucy passionately, Lucy didn't notice it and their order came interrupting Sting's passionate gaze to Lucy. At that moment Sting realize that he had feelings for the Celestial mage, he was absolutely positive about this, he never felt this way in any other girl that he had interactions before, for him Lucy is kinda special, he wants to take Lucy for himself. But he told to himself that he should just forget her, for this Celestial Mage is to good for the like of him, she doesn't deserve to be with someone like him who committed countless crimes on the past. But he couldn't control himself for gazing the beautiful and delicate maiden in front of him.
Lucy finally realize that Sting is looking into her, and because of that her face turned into a rose-colred shade, "What's happening to me?" she speak through her mind. "Why is he looking into me?", and with enough courage, Lucy finally speak and ask Sting on what he was doing. Sting's face turned into Deep-Red shade, at first he can't speak because of embarrasment, but something pop up from his mind that he must hold the maiden's hand, and with a blink of an eye, Sting holds Lucy right hand with both of his hands, looking Lucy into the eye.
Shock of what is happening, Lucy didn't respond into Sting's action immediately, but instead she was just staring back to Sting's eyes, eyes with so much courage and determination, silence has wrap the two of them, no one is talking, but Sting broke the silence, and pull Lucy's hand toward his chest.
Sting: Can you feel how fast my heartbeat is?
Lucy: Uh-hh what are you doing?
Sting: I'm asking you, do you feel how fast my heartbeat is?
Lucy: Ehh-hh, Uhh-hmm, yes i do.
Sting: I never felt this way before. But when i am with you, I feel uneasy and can't rest for a second, I think .... I -- I -- Lo---
Lucy: Wa-aait, you must be mistaking, this is the first time we get to know each other, so you must--
Sting: No!! (Interrupting Lucy's sentence), I'm positive. I'm inlove with you my maiden, My Lucy Heartfilia.
Lucy: Eh-hh, wa-ait. But..
Sting: I know you don't feel the same as i do, i just want to tell you about how i felt towards you.
Lucy: Uh-, honestly, i appreciate how you felt about me. (Taking her hands away) But you see, i think i'm inlove with someone else. Sorry.
Sting: Ah-h No it's okay, but i hope my confession would not end our friendship.
Lucy: Don't woryy, it will not. We're still friends.
Sting: Glad to hear that.
And with that, Sting hugs Lucy, and whispering on her ears if they can stay on that position for a while, as an answer Lucy hug back, and smile resting her face on Sting's shoulder.
Lucy: If it can help you to soothe the pain i've done to you tonight, i don't mind it.

Meanwhile Natsu and Happy with only food on their mind, happily entered the restaurant and to their suprise they saw Lucy and Sting hugging each other.
Natsu: What is happening here. (Staggering back, talking with low voice)
Happy: They like each other...
Hearing what Happy said and seeing the view in front of him, Natsu's mind was filled of anger towards Sting, his mind is full of anger, that he must pound this guy who is very close to Lucy out of this restaurant with his own hand, that is what he only thought to extinguish something that is hurting his heart so bad. With that he headed towards to Lucy and Sting's direction while shouting.
Natsu: YOU!!!! HOW DARE YOU TO GET CLOSE WITH MY TEAMMATE.
Happy: Natsu, calm down..
Lucy and Sting looked on who is shouting, and seeing his partner with such scary face, she knows what cause Natsu to burst into anger, so Lucy push Sting away from her, and try to explain everything to Natsu, but she is too late, Natsu's right fist had already contacted Sting's left face, sending the Sabertooth Mage meters away from them, and thus resulting to major damage to the restaurant.
Sting stand up, and ready to defend himself from Natsu's next attack, Natsu jump from his position and ready to use his signature move. "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon" Natsu yelled, Lucy can tell that their is so much anger in Natsu's face expression, she couldn't help herself for feeling guilty about this. But as she decided to stop Natsu, Sting fight back, using his "Roar of White Dragon".
