Cleaning up the kitchen I hear the sound of heels clicking on the wooden floor making their way towards the kitchen.Placing down her purse my mom grabs an apple and a mug and makes her morning breakfast.Which is normally her go to at this time.Dad walking in almost falls placing my hand over my mouth I try not to giggle and just continue to clean

"Hi honey,what're you up to today?",my father says to me as my mother fixes his black and blue tie.Throwing the rag in the sink I turn to them and shrug at them.Going to the fridge I grab the orange juice and pour it into the cup I had this morning.Smiling a weird smile my mom raises her eyebrows and says "𝙢𝙝𝙢"

Raising my eyebrow I set my cup down and swallow the juice I had in my mouth,"What was that about?",I say to her as I put the orange juice back and go to the sink to wash my cup.Once I finished I turn my attention back to her whom is finished with my dads tie and now their both just looking at me,"Are you sure you don't have plans with that boy?",my mom says with a smirk on her face

Mouth going wide I scratch the back of my neck and try walking away but they stop me as soon as I was about to walk past them,"What boy?",dad crosses his arms and raises his eyebrows.He was being protective of me of course but me and Mattia aren't anything right now we're just accomplices

"I'm gonna be running late for this parade and i'm in it so please i'll tell you both all about him later",I panic and than run past them and up the stairs.Shutting my bedroom door I sigh and slide down the door putting my head between my legs.They can't know about him because he's Mattia Polibio and if I remember clearly my family and his family are worst enemies.They might've been in my dream but maybe not here I have no idea but i'll find out

Slipping my shoes on I grab my belongings and head out.Walking down the street I see this homeless man cowering from this group of kids who were threatening to beat him up if they hear him asking for money again.Walking over to them I give them a stare and they just laughed,"Keep it moving pretty princess,we've got this handled",one of the boys say to me with a stern look on his face

I don't listen to him at all and just stand there in defense of the poor old man sitting on the floor scared for his life.Looking down at the man I could see the fear in his eyes.He had tears in them and his lips were trembling.Looking back at the group I cross my arms and give them one of those Mattia stares.Which it didn't work as much as I thought it would

Walking up to me one of his friends grabbed me by my hoodie so I was close to his face,"Mock my words,if you ever try stepping up to us make sure you have back up",the boy says throwing his hand back he was about to slap me when a deep voice talked,"Let her go before I kill you all",the voice says in a angry way

I watch as the boy and the entire groups eyes wander up a little as if the guys tall and starts to breathe heavy.Letting me go they all slowly walk backwards and the farther they got they started running.Turning around I see the one and only douche bag Mattia Polibio.Smiling I nod at him in thanks and he just keeps the same look he always has on

Getting down on my knees I take money out of my purse and give the man atleast $200 so he would have enough money for a couple of days.About to unaccept it I shake my head no and than stand back up looking back at Mattia.Nodding he wraps his arm in mine and we walk to the parade that i'm going to but not in,"Thank you Miss. you truly are a princess",the old man shouts causing me to giggle to myself and Mattia just looks at me

He had a small smirk on his face the only thing close to a smile which I enjoyed a lot.Watching as the band played in the parade and the dancers threw ribbons and boutons I clap my hands in amaze,"Mattia who's this?",a familiar voice says.Stopping my actions I look to Mattia's side and there's a short purple headed Kairi who had street-corn in his hand and cotton candy in the other

"This is Hayden and Hayden this is-",I cut him off in excitement,"Kairi",I scream in excitement it's not like anyone else could hear me over the loud music.Going over to him I hug him so tight and than let go.Clearing his throat he smiles awkwardly.Oh yeah I forgot he doesn't know me like that,"Girl your weird but here",he hands me the cotton candy he had and walks to Mattia's side leaving me feeling embarrassed
